I believe that is one reason the Prince and Princess choose Wyatt. The nobles will always think he is a "noble" and will not be able to determine his future actions.

Great episode! I have a feeling that Wyatt will not be a typical "noble", but will forge a more honorable noble house...even if it gets him in hot water with other nobles!
I agree. Wyatt is a survivor and just wants to get through the various situations he is in and retire with stress free life. He doesn't seek honor or glory but because of his survival instincts, these traits are gifted to him by the people around him. Ergo makes other nobles jealous and placing him in hot water.
I find it incredlible how well our author has crafted this story with all the intricacy of a realistic star spanning nobility. People just cannot grasp the facts that Wyatt is a man of high character who thinks less of his abilities then what is actually present . The second aspect at the “banquet”. Wyatt has an epiphany, and aspect that I had thought about when we were first introduced to her. It is just Clara and Cynthia, no retinue of attending retainers and servants, ladies in waiting, maids, dressers, etc. Wyatt has picked up on the fact, the people in the principality live in fear of Clara. I think it might be reasonable to infer. The Clara is the principalities enforcer. We shall see how this develops. @@RebelMerc I had an advantage I knew the chapter was almost done on Friday and I know @scifistories1977 likes to publish Black Ship stories at about 8:30 - 9:30 pm UK time I was effectively waiting in anticipation
Thank you for this wonderful Sunday evening treat 🥃
I like the format of the split stories, the first part with the 4 squadron members analysis of Wyatt . She has the absolute trust of her brother the princess, and the mussel of Captain Milcades and the Royal Marines. Looking forward to tomorrow’s installment . Thank you 😊
I love science fiction now here is a story I can sink my teeth in. Great work
Thanks!
Thank you, Russell!
