What are you most excited to see from Arma 3 in 2021?
Honestly, I continue to be amazed at the talent and patience of the modding community. I am impressed that Bohemia has not tried to create a platform filled with micro-transaction nor do they try to exclude a certain player base for more profit. I think seeing the unique ideas that modders and alternative history creators establish is very impressive.

As always I am excited about that mod that I didn’t know I needed and becomes a must have. Discovering the creativity that people have is one of the best bits of ARMA.

When i bought arma 3 i found it too hard to get into. It took a while begore i started playing again, but when i just got over the learning curve the game was a lot more enjoyable, and i couldnt stop playing
People really are served well if they can find someone to help get over the learning curve like a community or something. It makes all the difference when people overcome that part and it all clicks
@@WarIsHell yeah, I found it kinda hard to get help in arma, but in squad there isnt a server without anyone that is understanding, and willing to guide you through and answer your stupid questions

Another great video, and the best part was that reason # 1 - although I have yet to jump into multi-player it is people like you who speak and present information as you do that inspire me to learn all I can and help this continue and grow. I realised I'm still a novice with 70hrs yet I've just been trying to get my p.c, track ir, warthog hotas, peddles etc set up ( still not happy ) yet I love this game and want to get to know her better. Flying, particularly Helio's is my bag but I'm looking to learn more this year. What's held me back is a PlayStation & I thought by mistake holding back till Arma4 comes but that just don't matter...

I get Arma 3 on december! And by this point im thinking i dont need any other FPS game! I never have used a mod, but in this game i think im going to enjoy a lot the mod comunity! I have played Arma 2 DayZ, and more mods for that, then i played Arma 3 Epoch and Exile. as you kan understand i'm not so much of a milsim guy as a survival type of game guy, But regarding the community it is just as you described. It is good that there are a variations when it comes to the Arma game, there is so much that most people will find what they want in the game and realy like it.
I have arma 3. I spend most of my time doing BVR's and Helicopter Training. I'm interested into joining a group once I get a better pc. But in my opinion if you want freedom, and many mods you should get arma 3.

Arma 3 is the type of game where I usually spend more hours than others, very unique things to do, mid junkiness and glitches, overall lots of features with additional mods you can add

I got sucked into it by watching videos of large player groups doing ops. It's something I can play with my son, so glad I picked it up.
Spend as much time with your son as possible.
Reasons why I still play and love Arma 3; The equipment / outfits / weapons / tanks / Jets / Helicopters. I love playing King of the Hill / Wasteland in multiplayer. I loved the singleplayer story game. And I love I can be creative in Editor and do whatever I want.
The one thing that I really liked about arma other than the multiplayer is the editor, there is so much to do, create your own scenarios, mess around with making warzones, so many possibilities, even with my shitty intenet im going to redownload it soon

Hello! I'm fairly new to this kind of games. I don't do well with multiplayer games such as arma, cause sometimes i get a nice enough crew and have a really good time, but I'm mostly dispointed on the people I'm playing with, mostly in games such as Squad and Hell Let Loose. I'd really like to know how does Arma 3 plays in SP gamemode, in a antistasi kind of gameplay, such as you mentioned...

Question! I havent played much military sims, only War of Right. But have played war games all my life. Is the player base helpful or toxic against newbies? In WoR, officers often helps and explains stuff for the greenhorns. And this is a much more complicated game to learn, no?
The singleplayer is so good I absolutly love the campaign I played it about 10 times. That is another point. The campaign is so creative and amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing...
I fucking love the campaign! Im not Finish yet with it! Cause i did not train and i Go straigh to it, it is very hard even on soldier difficulty!

I just got it, I like games with mods. Just recently I thought I would try making some myself, I mean, I can make meshes, materials, animations an stuff already. So I imagine that makes it easier, its simply the matter of importing it correctly.
Question, should one get ALL the DLC? I mean, its a lot. Like twice the games base price

I downloaded a mod and i think it switched my version..says i need 2.02 now and i have 2.00?? Was there a recent update? I got my game saved on D drive instead of my ssd..i just wanted to try a server after a break from editor.

I’ve had Arma 3 but just got the base game like about a year ago. I don’t have any DLC BUT. At the moment. I have the ultimate edition ready to be bought. I just don’t have it in me to click the button. What should I do?! Lol

Doesn’t matter if Arma 4 is released next year or the year after most people would wait for updates or mod makers to port the mods to the game so people would still play Arma 3 for quite a while

Might be a stupid question but I bought the game today, if i’m a squad leader and i’m moving from one area to another, am I able to let the AI squad mates drive me there instead of me doing that? I don’t know if this made sense, hopefully it did.
Yeah that makes sense. You can in fact do that. When you have everyone you want in the vehicle with you. I'm doing this from memory so it may not be right Click "m" to open the map. Put your cursor
on where you want to go, press ` or ~ on your keyboard, scroll to "move there" and hit your middle mouse button to have them start driving. The driver does need to be someone you command though. AI is known to take some interesting routes and to have some troubles so don't be surprised if there are some issues along the way.

Just bought it bout a week ago the dayz mod is unreal the old man scenario is decent too dont really no much about the game tba quite a bit to learn
Antistasi is an incredible scenario, it's complicated but it it's one of my favorite things to do in arma and I play it solo
You're a guerrilla leader and you complete missions, capture buildings, radio towers, you raise up an army, you have to be tactical because you'll get motors raining down on you and a couple choppers full of troops attacking your base.
Hunter six is amazing to and less complicated almost like an RPG game with you commanding a SF unit
Always loved Anna and I'm making several maps and I'm a published them and I played on RP servers warlords and there is no other AAA one for one military shooter that I have had the most fun in the most crazy moments and the most insane battles in combined arms and even tactically I've been blown up in the most hilarious ways then armor if you want to triple a one-for-one military shooter to play with your buddies and even just goof around and fight against AI that you make maps for each other or try out the silver brows on it has the game mode for whatever you're looking for you want to do straight PVP you want to do PVE you want to role play you want to create content and support the game out of other people play it there's so much goodness in Arma if that just in the short time I have played it in the many many years I have watched several streamers on TH-cam it is so fun sometimes can be frustrating and sometimes your teammate's might be the best and there are some bugs you can look over those three negatives and the fact that you do have to pay for it even though it's an older title it is money well spent
I dont play in multiplayer because my Internet conncection very unsteable. My little city just dont have good providers. Should I buy ARMA 3 for singleplayer only or its wasting money?

The thing I found hard was learning my the controls. They were very complex
I thought the controls was gonna be harder the first time I played, but with my friend helping me I got into them fairly quickly. Really good game, gonna get it myself tomorrow I think.
After 1775 hours of ARMA Exile, I got into a Milsim group. The entire experience is new for me now, and it is like Im playing a new game. By no means can one be called a noob after 1700hours in a game, but when that gameplay changes to a completely different style of the same game, it becomes a new experience entirely.

Global Mobilization and the Scenario Editor has me dragged in 600h Playtime last year and still rising...
I can't even get into a vanilla game multi-player and it only wants you to buy dlc i had to refund as its unplayable for me

Take your time with the game. You'll learn it as time comes, I personally printed out a arma keyboard layout, its a paper that has all the key binds and stuff for the game. The game becomes pretty simple once you put the time into it. From there you'll find where you belong, arma has everything single thing you could possibly want and I mean everything. Want starwar, we got, anime, got it too, fishing simulator in a military sandbox yep we can do that too. Take your time and get to know the game, its like getting a girlfriend. Take it on a date and get to know it.

Hallo, ich freue mich endlich einen deutschen Post zum Spiel zu sehen, ich hoffe das ich dir einfach ein paar Fragen stellen kann da ich überlege mir das Spiel +apex heute zu kaufen. Macht es immernoch Sinn sich das Spiel zu kaufen? Mein Freund hatte mir gesagt das es nur noch einen deutschen Server mit 30 Menschen gibt.
Mein Aufgabe in dem Spiel welche ich mir geben würde wäre Helikopterpilot uuund ein Server mit nur 30 Leuten ist naja etwas mager wenn du verstehst.

Online Spiele ich nicht so gern.
Im Editor kann man sich seine Schlachten selber bauen.
Wenn man noch ein par Mod's dazu fügt kann man fast alles vom WW2 bis in die Neuzeit spielen.
Ich spiele es jetzt schon 2 Jahre und es ist noch nicht langweilig.

The apex pack is a must have for most servers, if you got that you can play anything you want.
If you join a unit they would most likely use mods so you won't even need dlcs to enjoy this game

I hate how the arma fanbase is dying and I hope the influx of some really great mods lately and the charity dlc brings more attention back to it but we as a community to help make the community welcoming and opening like you have done for years because I would hate to see one of my favorite games die out anytime soon
