  • Final Video in series detailing how I built this Farmhouse style Trestle Table
This Farmhouse Style Table utilizes Tusked Tenon Joints for easy disassembly.
It's built from reclaimed oak timbers salvaged from a 1800's barn.

It looks great! I’d be curious about how it holds up over the three seasons. A solid build!

Thanks for the feedback. Glad you enjoyed the videos.
Maybe I will post a follow-up video in 6 months detailing how well it holds up to the elements.

QUESTION. How did you attach the top to the base? Beautiful table.

Table top is not attached to the base. Client wanted table to be easily broken down for indoor / outdoor use.
The top sits upon the base and is heavy enough to stay in place. It's also nice and flat so there is no rocking on the base.
      Thanks for watching!

if you were to make benches, would you make them out if the same size stock as the table or a bit smaller.

      Hello
If I were to make matching benches, I would build them to a smaller scale.
