  • First Video in series detailing how I built this Farmhouse style Trestle Table
This Farmhouse Style Table utilizes Tusked Tenon Joints for easy disassembly.
It's built from reclaimed oak timbers salvaged from a 1800's barn.

Looking forward to seeing the base. I’m curious as to how many hours went into the top alone. Did using the reclaimed wood cause more trouble than it was worth time wise?

I’d say there’s probably 20 hours of work to get the top to this stage.
Future videos will detail additional work on the top… Routered edge, C-Channel install and finishing.
The reclaimed lumber does add time and steps vs. S4S factory lumber… but I truly love the milling process!

The table was built to client’s specifications. The top was 72” long x 35” wide.
