Today there are far too many like him on social media platforms no matter of the country, you just don't follow artists and casually bumped on a random suggested video on TH-cam so you believe that he's somehow unique. Once you share your art and become an artist on the internet you're probably a copy of a copy of a copy of some other artists who has already become popular in 2018.
With social media and everything, popularity is almost completely by chance, the algorithm decides what gets to be popular, but I agree this person deserves to be in the spotlight
My mom used to paint gigantic wall-sized banners with oil from pictures in magazines. She had to eat something though, so she would normally paint them in a week instead of 140 days. Still great progress from old masters days who did it in 5 years.
For progress dear friend, we must undoubtedly see it in the difference in technique of execution where the effects, the details of their painting were much more sophisticated than the works of contemporary painters, and especially the state of conservation of their works.
When you see the state of freshness of the mystical lamb which has existed for several centuries, we can be worried when we see the technique of this young man and wonder how his painting will survive the centuries.
What years was it? And was she self-employed and searched for the customers or was she employed at some company?

I think numerically categorizing people from the worst to best is weirdly vague. The best at what? Are they the smartest, the most ethical, the most successful? It kinda got me thinking that meaning is subjective. That what people value in themselves or their lives is different for everyone. If we make our values more accessible, we can be happier. But maybe I’m misinterpreting the question lol.

This question is designed to be pretty controversial at first glance. I do not believe this hypothetical could exist as i propose it does. This question is designed so the person answering inherently reveals the unique morals that guide them. There is so much nuance in conversations you have around this question.
A lot of what I have to say is available for those interested. the video before this one on this channel. if you disagree with me, I would not do so particularly heartedly before considering what I have to say over there. I've just spent 5 months with 1 question. It is a lot more than just a number (for me, at least).
How is making your values more accessible going to make you happier, when the meaning of those values is subjective, in respect to the meaning of what people subjectively value in themselves.....

Never seen one of those pigment sticks before too but it looks really useful, gonna have to get one haha!
R&F pigment sticks are awesome! i love how gestural the mark making can be. VERY slow drying (like 1-2 weeks on the canvas)

just because a questioon is said doesnt mean it carries any validity. Theres no such thing as the best person. life is a flawed creation. no perfections, weaknesses, mortality, fragile, lacks intelligence. Never destined to survive without others, other things. tthe question is dull, bland, shallow. What you should be asking is- if there is no purpose in the room - is beauty alone worth their suffering to exist together there - for that is the greatest value to come of it- just conscious awareness of its existence and the beauty to creates
your art reminds me a bit of victor nizovtsev paintings, the way you apply colors and textures is really beautiful. watching this video makes me want to go grab a canvas lol

I am intersted in art for my whole life, I studied "art", I drew a lot myself. And Sir you have exceptional talent. I know what you are doing right now already looks extraordinary, but I would encourage you to go the last mile to genius and study at an traditional academy. For example the art academy in sankt petersburg. I think they have it all. Or what I ve seen angel academy in italy florence. Maybe there are more. You could learn the details of anatomy or the layering in oil painting which creates depth, like the renaissance masters did. The oil paint layers break the light countless times, which gives the illusion of depth. Also the use of light in rooms, to create depth. I saw this in a small Jan Van Eyck painting, the Lucca-Madonna. Traditional artist did painting AND sculpture. Please think about it. Your work reminds me of the early Klimt, when he painted more naturalistically. And never ever let anybody destroy your love for figurative painting.

When I look at this painting, I feel as though I was getting a direct screenshot of how your brain interpreted, or a photo of your dream, as you answered this question on the 100... i could see them floating across the canvas, a smooth, flowing list of bodies, like watching them move weightless in space, turning slowly as they moved from one person to the the next... what a beautiful way to capture the answer to a pensive, but yet logical question... who are the 100 people in your life that have affected you, from best to worst...v

What is interesting is The comments were glowing for this artist. But when I went to the channels of the commenters. 99% of them have no content. They have not produced any work. So what is subjective are those who know nothing,
love this. The balance is off. The figures don’t relate to each other. What is the name of this work? He is clever. Knows how to paint. But, for me, this piece does not work as a cohesive artwork. It’s a vanity piece.

This is such an interesting question! I think we all start at number 1 gradually lose track of our true identity and gradually slide down to 100 ( even if we don' t realize it).......and then at some point in the course of our lives we start working our way back to number 1 again. That way I'd say we all get to experience the whole spectrum. Now, how far we choose to remain at any one number is a different kettle of fish!

Yes! I have no where else to paint however. When it comes to painting it or not, I choose to paint. Modern materials are much less hazardous than they used to be.
