I remember he was at an Art Gallery in Washington DC. I had the pleasure of watching him draw for a while as I stood there. After about 30 minutes, he signed autographs and gave out some graphics like the ones he was using to draw!!!! What an amazing moment!!!
Hey!!! This guy has been my inspiration … even before I knew I was autistic. Back when I was a kid watching blue Peter on the beeb… and he was but a kid himself. I’m now a full time artist, and whilst not the same level it’s something I continue to aspire to. Great chap.
I used to teach art, with troubled teens. Stephen Wiltshire was one artist that was a great inspiration to the young learners. Loved him since his early work as a child.
I recall seeing this artist as a child when he was taken up in a helicopter and flown round London and drawing every little detail of what he had seen. I never forgot it as it was so unique, it's good to see how far he has come.
I never get tired veawing this about this man and the fact that he has a disability is just mind blowing the lord gave him a beautiful gift this always brings a spark to me and a tear as well god bless this man thanks Steven your the man sir like Kim both masters
He came to an Art Gallery in Washington DC about 5 years ago, and i got a chance to see him paint for about 30 minutes. It was amazing!!!! He signed autographs and gave away pen sets like the ones he was using that day. I will never forget that day!!!
Extraordinary talent and amazing story. He family and teachers shared a burden of allowing him to bloom and overcome his short bearings. I'm afraid if he had been in the USA we would not have ever known of him.
Stephen is a genius! Despite his autism he has an amazing talent and is able to secure his future. Wonderful man. I remember seeing him when he was 9 or 10.
I've heard of this before but the person said that they never stopped seeing anything they'd ever seen. If you think about this, even though it sounds absolutely amazing, it can also be horrible. Thankfully this man has been able to keep his mind focused on something of interest to himself.
I remember when Stephen first came to the attention of the public when he appeared on a morning TV show here in the UK I believe that they gave Stephen a photo of The Houses of Parliament to draw while the show was on air Stephen drew the building and they put his sketch next to the photo and it was an exact copy a picture perfect his in incredible talent had been recognised
I remember that I saw him hmm 10-15 years ago in TV indocumentary about autism. Wow and now you show it ...? Again as new? Thank youtube god any bob can upload ancient stuff over and over again.
Stephen Wiltshire brings to mind one of my favorite Proverbs: “ The spirit of man is the candle of THE LORD searching all the inward parts of the belly.” PWG
I am intrigued about how his brain can storage all that information. He does not risk a severe burn out? I think this type of memorizing requires more brain capacity than classical music.
Isn't there a saying that most people only use 10% percent of their brain.... I think the scientists have adjusted it to 20% but still imagine what we are capable of at higher levels. I believe all of the worlds savants are merely accessing parts of their normal brain that's out of reach for the average person. Who knows, maybe one day there will be a pill like Limitless.😂
Some may wonder how such an intriguing circumstance like this can occur. We often label things in society, which is not good. God is the creator and he is the very base responsible for his unique gift. For some it may seem impossible or strange. At the helm of pure significance he has a talent in place of we may say he doesn’t have. God gave this type of ability for a reason. So we as society shouldn’t just put things in a BOX. Witness the miracles.
4:00 Personal opinion. If this has the accuracy, as described in the video, then I don't see it. It's difficult to recognize most buildings. A lot of noise but not a lot of not a lot of contrast. 70 percent is just meaningless filler. A camera would tell you right away that the river Thames does not vaguely follow this course. The narrator claiming the artist portrayed the exact number of floors in the towers is preposterous.

You are very blessed to have meet him I bet it was jaw dropping moment he seems like a very down to earth man

So wonderful to see a video about Stephen Wiltshire. It’s lovely to see that he is successful. God Bless Him.✒️✏️💙
Hard to comprehend. Mind Boggling
I used to teach art, with troubled teens. Stephen Wiltshire was one artist that was a great inspiration to the young learners. Loved him since his early work as a child.
.....supernatural talent...
good statement- I was trying to think of a suitable word to describe this artistic wonder and supernatural is a good fit, cheers!
Mind blowing what a human brain is capable of and yet so few people can do things like this.
He is amazing. Thank you for bringing him to us.
Such people are a unique gift to we lesser mortals. Behold and marvel at what we could have been if we were born but a little different.
This has to be the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen.
An incredible gift to illustrate his unique perspective.
One of the worlds greatest artists ,truly genius

I watched a documentary about this guy years ago when he was a fair bit younger and it amazed me then. Absolutely mind blowing

Bravissimo 👏
⭐👍👏
Bravo whaouuuuu🎉
Quel travail 😉
Respect🩷 ⭐🙏
It's truly amazing talent 👏
I think people like him are the ones who made the art scenes and maps prior to us relying on cameras.
Not everyone has this potential. This is extremely rare.
Great huge mind out there 💯💪🆒😎
Not just a great memory, talented artist.
Amazing!!! Lost for words...
Amazing
The hidden depths of power of the human mind revealed here in astonishing effect.
This guy has same ability with the legend artist Kim Jung Gi.
다른 능력임, 그리고 김정기 그분은 노력이고…
This is another level genius! 🫶

If he was an astronaut, a colossal
stars atlas would be drawn.
God bless him
Aside from his autism, he has an eidetic memory, meaning he never forgets anything. Remarkable.
Wonderful ❤❤❤❤❤
Art is the answer…
I saw same man draw Rome to get every minute details. Fantastic!!!!

Amaaaizing
He must have seen the city since he lives there. Amazing
He paints numerous things and cities after one glance. Truly bewildering and amazing.
I saw him do the houses of Parliament years ago when he was a teenager. Xx
Would be interesting to see the projection of reality over his pictures. Does it really fit? I like to believe…
Seems “genius is saying it mildly.❤❤❤
The human brain is the truly the final frontier! I just hope he’s not being exploited!
I do not believe is it possible to remember everything with a glance
Poor guy...that must be sooo exhausting. At least he can "make a living" from it...
He really works for the C.I.A. Just kidding. This guy is awesome.
Why we all are given a talent some good some bad is beyond me
@billyall... Ambiguity alarm 🔔 ;
Were you given a talent . . or was it beyond you? 👋😁
A M A Z I N G T A L E N T .
Meanwhile I can't even remember what I had for lunch yesterday 😢

What an amazing guy. I wanna buy him a drink and take him to the casinos in Vegas 🤑
I can’t remember where I left my grocery cart, or why I’m, yet again, standing in front of the refrigerator 😂🤣😂 Specially wired brain. Unique.
Idetic memory???? 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
🆒😎👍
Fun fact: I was born in Wiltshire
~ 1 in 8 Billion. ~

Why didn't you show a side by side comparison?
