  • Hey again. This is a video a lot of you were asking for, so I delivered! The only CFMOTO left in the line up I haven't covered is the CL-X 700 Heritage. With it being so closely related to the 700 Sport, I may put that video on the back burner and not worry about it too much.
    I will be doing more videos from various manufacturers, and I think Indian Motorcycle is going to be one that does really well for the channel, and I'm lucky enough to work at a dealership with a great selection of used motorcycles to choose from.
    Thanks to ‪@F8Entertainment‬ for creating an excellent copyright free music track. Check out his channel for more.
    If you see this, comment "adventura go brrr"
    See you in the next one. :)

    I have this bike in white. It's awesome. Buy one! DO NOT have the dealer do most of the maintenance at $187/hour - do it yourself. They stiffed me over $500 for the first service - 2 hours to "check all the bolts are tight" and that kind of crapola

    Great funny review always MI! I’m surprised you don’t get the hand guards as standard fitment in the US. You can fit Aussie made Barkbusters though. The MT is an older design of the Kawka though so hence the similarities. The 800MT on the other hand uses a KTM sourced 790 because of their collaboration. You will enjoy that hooligan 😉 Cheers, keep up the great videos & appreciate your time & energy making them👌

    • @Omni_Moto
      @Omni_Moto  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hand guards would be a nice touch, but for the cost to add them aftermarket I don't think its too tough of a pill to swallow. It's interesting the CF motor is based on an older gen 650 from Kawa, but that would make sense. No reason for Kawa not to sell the patent for it since they have an update version. I'm stoked for the arrival of the 800 Adventura. Bike looks stellar and the specs appear to be very attractive. Thanks for the great comment, Steve! See you in the next one. 😎

    Got a line on one for $6300 out the door. Debating between this and Honda CB500X. Not exactly apples to apples. Worried the cb won't have enough punch for highway driving.
    I am 5'10" 175 lbs, 68 yrs.
    Back to riding after a long break. Got a new 21 Honda cb300r. Have also been riding friend's 2015 Suzuki vstrom 650 with no trouble but it's a bit top heavy.
    Any advice you can give me?
    Thanks and keep doing a good job.

    • @Omni_Moto
      @Omni_Moto  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Reuben, $6,300 out-the-door is a great deal - if you like the bike and are happy with your deal, I'd say try it out! To answer some other points you mentioned, I think the CB500X can handle highway driving, but as you mentioned, it won't be super punchy on the top end - that said, most of the time you'll be between 65-85MPH on US Interstates, and it can handle that happily. The 650 Adventura isn't exactly snapping any necks either, but it does move out nicely when you tell it to and will be noticeably more powerful than the CB500X. The VStrom is a legendary ADV bike even though it is a little top-heavy. One other machine you might consider would the NC700X from Honda. It almost bridges the gap between the Adventura 650 and the CB 500X, giving you ample power while still offering a versatile "do-anything" type of machine. A very well-thought-out machine with a low center of gravity and plenty of power to keep up with the likes of the 650 Adventura or the V Strom 650.
      Hope this helps. Happy hunting and ride safe!

    This a good review of the adventure 650, funny that it was a whole second quicker to 60 than the nk in your other video! Did it feel like it had more power than the nk? I've got a Aussie spec 2017 nk with the 70hp engine spec and it feels pretty alive past 5000rpm

    • @Omni_Moto
      @Omni_Moto  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Mid! Admittedly, I’m not a professional rider so my 0-60 times will be pretty inconsistent. Honestly, I think when I did the 650NK I was shifting too early and that severely impacted my time vs on the Adventura, I held my RPMs out for longer. If anything, the NK (in theory) should be fast with the same engine and being more lightweight. However, the Adventura could be geared different for better torque and acceleration.

    I own a CF moto Mt 650. A big problem I've had isthe heat. Once the radiator fan hits the heat gets
    deflected to my leg but that is also
    directly hits your crotch.. (If any of you can give a solution for this it would be great)

    • @Omni_Moto
      @Omni_Moto  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey sane, the only suggestion/solution I can make is to possibly see if you can get an ECU flash or a piggy-back tuner that will optimize fueling for a more efficient engine, thus resulting in cooler running temperatures. Sorry to hear you are not having a great time with it. My next best solution is to trade it in on a different machine. Aside from that, I can't really think of any other way to negate it - at the end of the day, you're straddling an internal combustion engine that relies on heat and explosions to propel itself.

      @@charan11010 It could help, as it would flow more air than the factory exhaust, but you'll want to be careful with that because you can create a lean condition if it flows too freely, which will just make things hotter. I'd say look for a fuel-controller/ECU flash that can be paired with an exhaust if you go that route to get the best results.

      This model only has sport/eco display modes. This does not actually change the throttle response of the machine - only alters the appearance of the display. Primarily because of the cable driven throttle as opposed to a ride-by-wire system.

    How is it for riding 2up?

    • @Omni_Moto
      @Omni_Moto  ปีที่แล้ว

      This bike can handle 2-up riding! Your passenger will need to be mindful of the bags though - they are rather large. If you're doing a short trip though, they are removable so your passenger can have a little more room.
      To answer your question shortly, this motorcycle can handle 2-up riding fairly well.

    Dang $2300 in freight and prep, does that include taxes and reg fees?

    • @Omni_Moto
      @Omni_Moto  ปีที่แล้ว

      Prices have come down since this video was made. To answer your question though, no, that price does not include taxes and registration fees.
      I'd like to add that I do NOT make the prices that I mention in my videos, as I do not own the store who sells the products. Thanks for watching!

      Hey, None. Thanks for the comment!
      If your bike is overheating, take it to your local dealership. They should be able to file a warranty claim and fix any parts that aren’t performing up to factory specifications. Sorry to hear you’re not having an ideal ownership experience, but CF is pretty good about warranty claims AFAIK.
      Although they are a Chinese company, I think they do a pretty good job of breaking the stigma of “China bad”. After all, KTM has them as a business partner.
      The 650 from CF is derived from a proven design - the 1st gen Kawasaki 650 P-Twin. There will always be a couple, among the thousands that are sold every year, that have their problems - no manufacturer is 100% perfect.
      TL;DR: Give CF a chance to make it right. If they can’t fix it, you may have set too high of expectations for a machine which forces the user to straddle an internal-combustion engine, while maintaining “cool” temperatures.
      Hope this helps. Ride safe. 👍

      @@Omni_Moto The local dealer is not my fav place any more.
      They crushed the oil filter on the first service. I asked if they would buy it back from me. It was a big no.. Yeah.. Dealer that doesn't want the product they sell back. You know the product sucks.
      Warranty from CFMoto is a Joke. It sat at the dealership for 2.5 months for a 20 dollar part.
      Its not overheating its cooking my crotch. Piss poor design of venting.
      I honestly hate this bike the only pro of this bike is that it has 2 wheels. The rest is a con. Poor design, poor support, mediocre at best everything else. I have had quite a few hours in the seat on this thing and frankly there is nothing good about it, not even the price. 2k More and I could have just got another vstrom.
      Chinese clone junk of the versys. I absolutely hate this thing and pisses me off that its in my garage.

    I have the filling that the specs are the same with Versys 650. At Asia they sell it as 70hp. I have the euro 5 montel 2021 and is easy to see 185+ km / hr and the top speed i have see is 204 km /hr. Same with Versys 650 that they claim it has more power. Any way cf moto it comes to stay global with Value for Money bikes. If it proves that it is reliable enough, it will go well.
