I visited this place last week and was blown away. Most definitely one of if not the best facilities of its type on the east coast. Now this is what you call giving back to your community. Thank You Joe Hollingsworth
That pump track flow thing at the beginning looked fun. Perfect for the ole Chromag rootdown. Hope your well and made out ok after the storm. We got almost 2 inches of damn snow up here tonight.
We're good here. There was a lot of rain. Some towns near me has some damage though. Most of the trails at this park are years old, but the had a grand opening of the facilities that were just built. The pump track was pretty good. It really needs a DJ . There were a lot of unwatched kids just learning hiding in the track. It was scary a few times because I didn't see them and all the jumps are blind. Fortunately no accidents
@@AppalachainMTB When it splits and you can go left or right, i went left and the tabletop after the right hand berm bucked me. When i came down a pedal pin went through my shin down to the bone for about an inch and a half. Never thought it would happen to me, but i now own shin guards. Lol
I really wish parents would keep their kids off the pump track until they are ready for it…it’s asking for kids to get injured. But then again, that means they have to get their eyes on their kids and off their phones. 🤷♀️😎
Painfully true. Especially as I want more people to get out and ride. However I want people to be as safe as possible by not adding more apathy to the interactions.
I ride a Specialized Levo - 2023. It's an incredible bike and absolutely solid platform. I've hit gnarly stuff with it, I've crashed, and it just keeps on delivering an amazing ride. If you don't ride in turbo mode, you have usually a full day if not 2 full days of good solid riding on it. Specialized created an amazing bike with this model. If you're in or near the Knoxville area, the Bike Zoo is my bike shop that absolutely incredible. Best people, best service and best products.

It's amazing what they've done. Super nice facility, lots of parking.

Dude that jump track was HARD! Of course the hundred kids stranded along the way with no parent in sight didn’t help…
Glad it wasn't just me. That track was a work out and added human obstacles definitely bumped up the challenge
Went on opening day and the first run on the jump track landed me in the er getting 5 stitches.
Dang! What happened?

@@Daniel-nl3zf I wear shin guard/knee pad combos by Leatt pretty much every time I ride.

Hi, I’m watching your video and wondering what bike you are riding and if you would recommend it.
Thanks
