I will be honest and say that IGN is the reason I probably won’t use numbers in any review scores I give. I nearly died of shock when I saw the new Modern Warfare II only got a 6/10 because… well even the worst CoD games got like a 7.7 or something crazy. IGN are often pretty useless to look at, but the way audience scores are going with review bombing a game if some dude in Paraguay doesn’t like it - I just stick to the Metacritic review scores.
To be fair the last of us 2 still feels more next gen than most because of the incredible animation. It's not easy to achieve only Red Dead Redemption 2 comes close. I want more realistic animation in games, like want GTA 6 to control more like GTA 4.
I hate angry Joe and unsubscribed after his tlou 2 review. He said so many stupid things just to appease his audience. At least that's what I was thinking when I saw his review and his spolier talks on tlou2 topic.
