Thanks so much for this. I have trimmed side boarders off my first copy and just got a second deck and have been deciding if I wanted to trim it naked. This looks so great borderless 😍😊💖
They look amazing trimmed and the colors you edged the cards in are perfect 😍 i also love the balance of the tarot of the trees w/this deck 🥰 such a great video 🤗
I love this deck 😍 I trimmed mine aswell, but left the titles on as I'm still learning and it made the backs more symmetrical. I also dusted each card with a little talc to stop it sticking, worked great 👍🏼
I actually can't thank you enough for saying it's okay to get a replacement copy of mass market if the trimming doesn't turn out how we wanted. I tried to trim my new Llewellyn down to just the art. The newest edition has super glossy cardstock and I kept screwing up so much that now all the cards are super misaligned, with too much art taken off. :'( I'm really nervous about trying again, but I love the deck so much with just the art, I want to do it justice! So scared though.
I've replaced mass markets decks that I messed up. To me that's no different than if broke a bowl in my kitchen, I would replace it. 🙂 Good luck with you mod! Thank you for watching. ❤️
Hi Dawn. I’ve been wondering do you ever give away a modified deck that no longer resonates with you? If you do, do you keep the box to go with it? It’s just a thought going through my head as I’d like to try to modify one of my decks but I have in the past moved a deck on once it no longer connects with me. That was going through my head as your video played. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and ideas.
I have occasionally gifted or traded modified decks. I generally don't keep the boxes for most of my decks as I create bags. So far I haven't had any complaints about not having a box because I just send the bag I created along with it. Modified decks are usually harder to sell, but if you think you might gift/trade the deck later on you can always just include whatever bag or container you are keeping the deck in and that should suffice. I think it depends on the box type as well. For a deck that came in a plain tuck box, I don't think it's that's big of a deal not to have it anymore. I hope that helps some! 🙂 Thank you for watching. ❤️
Did you find that the images were not square in the card? I ruined the first few cards before I realized that my copy was not printed squarely. Sadly I will have to purchase another copy.
I have found that few decks are printed squarely, with the images in the exact center, so I try to always keep that in mind. I use measurements when I trim so that helps me to compensate for any issues with the original printing. I am sorry yours didn't come out right the first time, but I do hope you enjoy the deck trimmed. It is one of my favorites and such a powerful reader. 🙂 Thank you for watching! ❤️
Wowsers!!!! What an awesome deck mod! I love it!!! ❤️

Hello there, I’m about to try this project and I would like to know what made it difficult for you if you don’t mind, thank you!
