This is one deck I absolutely love, and while I'd never dare cut into it, the edges you created are *gorgeous*. It's actually one of the most fantastic edgings you've done. The way it matches the back and the slight bleed look like they were meant to be there. Btw, while I'm still pretty much scared of doing my own mods, I am currently waiting for a corner rounder to get rid of very sharp, square corners of a couple of indie decks I have. So thank you for the inspiration!

Thank you so much, I love the way it came out and it's such a better size for me to work with it now. My advice is start with a deck you're not attached to (and an inexpensive one) if you're interested in trying your hand at modifications. It's pretty fun once you get the hang of it and such a great bonding experience with your deck. 🙂 Thank you for watching. ❤️

Dawn, I picked getting the Dali Tarot first before getting this deck and OMG I can't believe you're trimming it!!!!!!!! I love that you have such a good experience with it and I really hope I have that experience when I get it. I like the border here but I'm also afraid of the shuffling issue. I can't believe you're trimming just because it's expensive hehe but you're always very brave + experienced in trimming :) the end result is amazing!!!!

To be honest, if I hadn't struggled so with the size I wouldn't have trimmed it. I did actually like the borders but it was just too big for my small hands. A fe years ago I would have never touched an indie deck but I've had lots of practice now and in the end it's just ink and paper. 🙂 It's a fantastic deck and I really love working with it. I can't wait to hear what you think of the Dali Tarot! 🙂 Thank you for watching. ❤️

Boho Tarot (I bought this deck instead of the Dali Tarot in the end - watching you do this + the Black Friday discount on this deck made me do it! Haha)

I have to get some crayola markers. The marker tips are so soft to work with. I have been using other markers that scratch the edging. Ack! Thanks!!

I'm super weird but I love when my cards bleed and such. Especially on cards that have mostly white

    • @DawnMichelleTarot

Sometimes I intentionally bleed it because, I agree, sometimes it looks really cool. Like on my Nicoletta, I intentionally bled that on the front to make it look grungy. Sometimes it's a really cool effect. 🙂 Thank you for watching! ❤️

Thank you so much and the creator was kind enough to send me a replacement card so my deck is back in working order. 🙂 Thank you for watching. ❤️

Dawn, do you still read with this deck? I am torn but I have had this on my radar for almost two years now. It was a choice between this and Pagan Otherworlds and I chose the latter but I not only need to mod that deck, I of course still want carnival at the end of the world, I like the premise of this deck as well.
Very Fun mod. Even if it was four years ago…lol.

Heya, I’ve been in the same dilemma as you but I reckon I’ll be buyin this deck soon (I bought the pagan otherworlds a while back too haha)
I think Dawn has a video ranging about 3 years back where she actually rehomed this deck so she doesn’t use it anymore.

I don’t actually have the deck anymore, sadly it didn’t make it through a purge. I do kinda miss it so I might repurchase. 😁

I’ve never tried using Crayola pens for edging! I have to give these a go.
As always your deck mod looks amazing. I hope you can get a three of Wands! Fingers crossed 🤞

They are cheap and quick and easy and very rarely bleed. 🙂 I did a three of wands, the creator sent me one which was so awesome! 🙂 Thank you for watching. ❤️
