    I think it‘s great that you also include decks that are out of print in your videos, because even though we can‘t purchase them anymore, it gives us the chance to get to know and enjoy them through you.

      Yes! I understand why creators apologize for showing OOP but 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s a tarot vid not an advertisement 😂

    I have no idea how I managed to miss this tag as I love anything to do with an enchanted Forest 🤩🦋 thank you!

    I think it's the first time I'm seeing the Forest Folklore Tarot, it's not my style but I absolutely love discovering new decks! I don't mind you showing OOP decks for this very reason. Thanks for sharing! 💚

    Oh, and so good to see OOP decks because then we know what to look out for on the sale/second hand pages. 😍

    This is lovely. Thank you for sharing. Definitely agree about the Hush Tarot (and OAT) - feels like a space/realm of fae. That deck really touches me - just so beautiful. Loved seeing this mini collection. ✨

    I have many of these decks and love them dearly. I agree 💯 about the Forest of Enchantment. I thought it was going be a cutesy deck and quickly found out, no way.

    I’m always intrigued by what people can refer to as “Fae” energy as it is so subjective within quite a broad spectrum depending upon context, life experiences, culture, research, magical paths, mysticism, etc. We use a single word and yet it is far from encompassing a single experience of Otherworld Beings or their myriad realms. I do appreciate how you try to describe “Fae” energy/beings for you! Sometimes our language is so limited. LOL

    My parents had the Brian Froud books when I was a kid and we sort of knew Wendy Froud was involved in movie creatures, but it always felt so niche and obscure that the fact that their tarot deck is so hard to get now is bewildering yet makes me kinda proud like a parent 🤣

    The Forest of Enchantment holds interesting energy.
    I feel it touches upon our inner child and any fears that are being summoned within the spirit of the *Forest* environment.
    I haven’t worked with the FOE in a long while, but I’m keeping it as it is a unique deck for me. Also, I can do readings with children using the FOE.
    And I LOVE the Oak Ash Thorn! 🐾🐾
    The Judgement card from the deck is one of the most beautiful depicted archetypes that I’ve seen in a tarot deck. ❤️‍🔥🕯✨

    Interesting take on Tarot of the Sidhe: My nature-based alien deck is The Guardian Tarot. Guess it comes down to what you think a fairy is supposed to look like! The Hush Tarot seems like the world after the fairies had killed all the people and nature took over. Thanks for sharing your decks and thoughts :)

    Thanks for sharing all these beautiful decks. It was so nice to be taken into another reality with all the 'Fae' cards. They all have such enchantment in their imagery. Enjoyed your collection.

    I love this topic and loved the decks! I only have one deck right now (The Hidden Realm) that I look at as a dedicated fae deck but I loved that you have the OA&T on the list too!

    • @DawnMichelleTarot
      @DawnMichelleTarot  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The OA&T does feel enchanted to me as well so I thought it fit in perfectly with this little deck family. :)

    I love that you call it your Ludo deck! When you paused on that card, my immediate thought was "it's Ludo!"

    • @DawnMichelleTarot
      @DawnMichelleTarot  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's totally Ludo! That deck has become one of my favorites for just that reason. :)

    I don’t own any fae decks. I don’t know why because I think the artwork on the various decks are beautiful. Than you for showing us your collection. 💜

    I only have the Hush Tarot and the OAT, the rest of the decks look so magical, however I'm trying to be realistic and I know I won't use them. These look perfect for your work - not that I know you, but I've been watching your videos for so long, I feel like I (sorta) know you ☺

    • @DawnMichelleTarot
      @DawnMichelleTarot  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I totally get that! I have people I've been watching for years I feel like were "friends" even though they have no idea who I am. :)

  • @MeadowlarkMystic
    @MeadowlarkMystic 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Cool! I like how excited you sound about your journey with the Fae. It took me a long time to get to know the Froud deck. It does feel like a collection of "people" rather than archetypes. And the last deck you showed also has always reminded me of aliens as well. I just didn't connect that until you shared your experience. Fun video Dawn.

    • @DawnMichelleTarot
      @DawnMichelleTarot  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Froud decks are certainly unique! It was been fun getting to know them. The Tarot of the Sidhe is totally alien to me, but I really love it for that. :)

    Wonderful video 🤗 I own 95% of these decks & all are amongst my all time faves. FOE is my heart. It encapsulates most of my favourite things in the world 💚
    I am on a permanent search for the Heart of Faerie. Very few unicorn decks left on my list & this is joint #1!
    Thank you for the time spent with the fae 💜

    Hi! I have added many of these decks to my wishlist. Also, I thank you for your “How to trim a tarot deck” videos. I have trimmed 3 decks so far and they came out as perfect as humanly possible.

      My first one was a little rough. My second was much improved. Practice will pay off I see. I too thank you. My hands are too small for standard decks.

    Hi! Is it possible that you bought the John Bauer tarot again? I was sure you had done a mod with it. Sorry, I’m really curious about your journey with that deck!

      I did repurchase it! I talked about it my Second Chance video. I'll also be sharing more about my experience with it in my upcoming video sharing about my Tarot practice in July. :)

  • @thebeautifulseason
    @thebeautifulseason 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What shape does your practice take when you say that you spent this month working with fae energy?

    • @DawnMichelleTarot
      @DawnMichelleTarot  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a big question. :) Basically it means that the decks I used and the practices I engaged with were experienced through the lens of the fae. I'll talk about that a bit more in my upcoming video on my Tarot practice in July. Hopefully that will shine some light on it. :)

    Would Pegan Otherworlds Tarot fit in this category

    • @DawnMichelleTarot
      @DawnMichelleTarot  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That one doesn't have so much of the fae energy for me, but I could certainly see it being an enchanted deck as it's like a portal to another realm. :)
