His art's not even bad, it's just that by the time it became widely used alot of the stuff was outdated (shrinkwrapping, feathers, proportions fat and mass etc etc.) His models are very great for the time they were made, and you can see a definite improvement on his return in 2015. I have no doubt that if he were still around his art would be pretty fantastic.

The models being used for those productions were not stolen, you know renderosity is mainly used as a storefront for models that you can use in your own productions, the gallery function is mostly secondary to showcase your store products more
He wouldn't have sold his items both in renderosity and the DAZ store if he didn't want productions like those, you know you could highlight that you can still go to his store and buy his models for your own renders and his family will still get paid probably, they are pretty cheap too like $16 a pop that's probably why so many crappy productions used those models instead of more "professional" options that can cost hundreds of dollars
Also check out Herschel Hoffmeyer for a more recent dude making and selling dino models, although his designs are a little more out there

Even being limited by the tools of his time, some of his compositions are still more impressive than a lot of so called "paleoartists" we have nowadays.

So when I saw you made a video about the dinosaur models, what came to my mind were the ones from DK dinosaur books since I feel nostalgic to them. I think you should make a video on those.
