I've lived in Santa Monica for almost 40 years, I can't believe how difficult it is to find apartments now, and the prices are insane! It used to be so affordable anywhere in LA and Santa Monica used to be one of the cheapest places to live, believe it or not, back in the 80s. After four decades in Los Angeles and Santa Monica I still love it and can't imagine living anywhere else

wow Apartment 3😍 love how there's a gym. Honestly all the apartments look like something out of a movie. Love the windows in apartment 8 so much. So much natural light.

I lived in building #1 a year or so ago! I really liked it, the covered balcony was great for a hammock, it was super quiet inside, and no one ever used the gorgeous rooftop deck! I would have stayed if it wasn’t so expensive. If you end up in Culver, I recommend Super Domestic Coffee and the sandwiches at Jackson Market and Deli!

Wow! Such a small world! Thanks for sharing :) That building was so beautiful!! Out of curiosity - did they increase the rent by a lot after a year? I know it's common practice with those bigger apartment complexes and I wonder if this one is the same

I hate big apartment complexes. I grew up in a house so I am accustomed to stepping out the door and being outside, not in a hallway. And being surrounded by all those people would bother me.
I have rented apartments before. My first two were in an older apartment complex so there were a lot of large grassy areas and trees. I also had a front and back door and a back porch. All the stairs were outdoors and there were no hallways or corridors.

It's interesting! I actually grew up in the apartment and I personally prefer it, but I can totally understand your point of you - it's super nice to have a big outdoor space all to yourself - just don't like to do the upkeep myself haha ;)

@@JuliaCaban myslalam ze NY jest drogi ale porownojac ceny to tu jest taniej - a przynajmniej tak mi sie wydaje. Ech duzo osob stoi przed dylematem - my tak samo chcemy uciec stąd i myslimy gdzie ale nie chcemy zyc gdzies i pracowac tylko na rachunki lub splacac komus domy czy apartamenty.

@@JuliaCaban w sumie myslelismy o paru ale po przyjezdzie tam okazywalo sie ze to nie ,,to,, - FL odpada, NC też, CA bardzo lubimy szczegolnie San diego ale drogie ze hej, TX jest jaki jest sama wiesz hehe no i tak myslimy ze albo gdzies pewnie obrzeza NY bo w sumie fajnie miec to miasto blisko albo moze PL? Nie wiemy jeszcze na 100% ciagle debaty w glowie 😝👉🏻💆🏼‍♀️

@@nataliag.727 TX zależy gdzie, Austin jest spoko i mogę Ci dać namiar na fane miejsce pod wynajem mieszkania, w którym i my mieszkamy z widokiem na rzekę Kolorado oraz pieszo można isć do marketu i do restauracji ;). Ludzie są też mili. Ale fakt, wkurzające są czasem komary gdy się poza Austin wyjedzie, bo w Austin ich nie ma, a jeśli są to taki sam poziom jak na Polach Mokotowskich. ale poza to jak na Mazurach w PL :Palbo nawet i nie. Ale przyznam @Julia Caban , ze to jakie komary i te inne stworki są w Dallas to masakra, nie dziwie sie ze ucieklas z tamtych okolic, też bym tak zrobiła. Sporo jeździmy na rowerach i pod namiot też lubimy wyskoczyć i w obrębie Austin nic nas tak nie pogryzło jak w okolicach Dallas.Coś strasznego. Przestałam oczy robić jak się u znajomych pojawiał chlopak z ranami na ciele, myślałam że gdzieś po dziurach chodzi, duzych trawach, a teraz już wiem że w tamtych okolicach są "wampiry".
Tak wiec dla nas jedynym Minusem mieszkania w Austin jest odległość od Morza i dlatego zastanawiamy sie czy nie przenieść się do Kalifornii😁. Zmieniając troszkę temat temat, czy możesz Natalia powiedzieć dlaczego Karolina Północna w Twoim przypadku odpada oraz Floryda? zaintrygowałaś mnie tym
