If you work from home I recommend checking out Mobil Home Parks because the new ones feel like a house and the monthly is the same as those apartments you were looking at but for a three-bedroom instead of a one-bedroom.
Interesting, I am also looking for a place in LA and there is no inventory at all. All I do is look at listings 8 hrs a day and I feel very tired and overwhelmed. I've seen that first bungalow you toured as well from adaptive in Santa Monica CA. It's interesting to hear other people's perspectives (too expensive for the price etc) and also interesting to see it in you tour it since I saw it online. It looks nicer in your vid than in the pics.
I did but didn’t get any good leads and ended up mostly looked for listings on apartments com and Zillow and then messaged all listing agents through those websites. That’s how I found this place!
Is there a reason you guys are only looking on the westside? Rents in the southbay are better and if you are working at home I feel better quality of life. I have a house in Hermosa and very walkable.
Hermosa is beautiful! I went there a few times! I didn’t see a lot of units to rent. Not sure if no one was renting at the time or they just don’t post on Zillow🤔 how did you find your place to rent?
Mar Vista is a great neighborhood. You can pretty much get anything you want for that budget, lol... LA is so over priced. *I live in LA on West Side and to be honest, it's safe but the over price is ridiculous.

I like apartment #3-patio was amazing, bathroom, fish pond but there should be an in-unit washer and dryer for that price.
I agree! It was the biggest con of that apartment. I could deal without AC but I hate going to laundromats 😩
