Great playin' Nik. Very nice. For anyone out there that might read my little comment here. The B.B. King licks that Nik is coping/ and referring to, from the Hendrix performance are (in general) from a recording titled "You Done Lost Your Good Thing Now", it's on an album titled "My Kind Of Blues". There is also a bootleg SRV performance of that song, I think from the Stubbs BBQ recordings (on You Tube). When I was a kid learning blues guitar, some years before Hendrix's AYE album, that particular B.B. record was one of the ones you wanted to cop. Check it out, you'll dig it. Lots of great stuff on there, B.B with just a piano, bass, and drums, no horn section or organ. B.B said it was his favorite record (that he recorded that is). Once again, great video Nik. And yes, I'm an old fart. But I'm still at it, they'll pry my ax from my cold dead hands.

The pick choking-up tone reminded me of Jack Pearson's "wah-wah" sounds he gets by playing that way, hitting the strings with both fingers and the pick together, but I sure can't do it - maybe you can...?

Really great tone!! Are you using your Super? It‘s so warm, don‘t understand how you get that tone with a treble bleed and the JBL‘s?? Normally it must be bright as hell.

What do you think compare to Isle of tone? I have a haze 67 with a 69 coming in a few weeks but I want to try one of these too
Of all the FF(-ish) pedal, whats your favorite now?
Fuzz is starting to get crazy nowadays, it easily cost over 300 bucks.
I own/ owned over 12 FF type pedal (mostly stick to the vintage voicing, just with some modern features like input gain or whatever),
and now i felt a bit lost in the search of FF pedals....
I feel most of them is great already, and i don't know if i need/ should continue the search....
You are correct. I feel a good fuzz really works with the player. Many to es with sili/ge. Its the endless search
My favorite is my signature fuzz from Dominion. Its a take on my 66 and it outperforms it in some ways. Im grateful
