Welcome to the channel, my name is Stuart Carter-Smith and I’m a life long golfer that started my journey in 1985. I’ve played tournament golf, amateur and professional in Europe and the US over the years. This channel is dedicated to other like minded golfers that enjoy pure golf related content including anything I can do to help improve your golf. I’ve made nearly all the mistakes there are to make in my time so let’s all learn something from them. I’m always open to any questions so please leave a comment and I will address as many as I can with a full episode. BTW Fun banter is always welcome as long as it’s aimed at me and not other members of the channel.

Great to have you back Stuart , always enjoy your golf and tips.
Thanks for the support Malcolm it’s great to be back.
Great Vlog and advice Stu Them shot tracers with your game are next level.
Thanks mate, we gotta get a game soon. I was up your way the other week and will be back soon.
Nice one, mate. Good to see you back on the course and creating content!
Thanks pal, its so nice you be back and thanks for watching, let me know if you have anything in particular you would like to see in a video.
Great vid Stuart. Enjoying your content. The Arccos sensor vid was really good. Would love to see more! Where are you getting the graphics with the course distances and layouts?
Thanks Andrew, I have access from Celtic for all their digital content but when I play away I just take images from a planner and then photoshop the rest. 👍
Great seeing you out there Stuart. I should have used the 3 hole tip last Sunday. It was terrible for where I'm at or should be. Your game seems 2b in the right spot already as far as I can see. Putter was on 🔥 Nice. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Give it a go Eric. Yeah the putter can make up for a lot sometimes. Great being out again. 🙏🙏
@@cartersmithgolf 🤙🏻💪🏻👍🏻
Very enjoyable content 👍🏻 missed your vlogs
Thanks Guy, it’s good to be back.
Brilliant Stuart, I'm just home from work and was waiting for this video, thanks Stuart I'll use the 3 hole strategy from now on 👍
Forgot to mention that this one was for you. When you get to grips with it then move the goalposts out to 3x 6 holes.
@@cartersmithgolf Thanks Stuart, appreciated 👍
Course looks in cracking condition Stu 👍
Some lovely advice there, thanks
Thanks Kent, you never really know what to say but like I said, I have had quite a few good results with this one over the years with some of the players I have coached.
@@cartersmithgolf I have Debi doing 'Level fives' and that seems to work for her at an 18 handicap. It's just getting them away from the Bogie, Double Bogie mindset 👍
You did better than I would've with that running 😜
@@cartersmithgolf do you still do any coaching Stuart ?
@@andygreen1677 I do a small amount Andy.
@@cartersmithgolf would it be possible to DM you ?
Regards,
Andy
Your game is looking pretty solid Stuart, mine at the moment is a bit iffy some good then from nowhere it goes on a walkabout....but still love the game....Will try the 3 hole plan next time out...
Thanks Andrew it’s the same for everyone, it comes and goes but like you I just love playing through the bad and good equally. It’s all fun.
@@cartersmithgolf totally agree Stuart when I used to play with number of folks and they were having a bad day i used this motto there is always one shot or putt happens which gets back out on the course and I still use that to this day on myself..meant to say it was a really enjoyable vlog, looking forward to next vlog...cheers 😀
Brilliant video 👍
Thanks Dave, glad you enjoyed it. let me know if you have anything in particular you would like to see in a video.
@@cartersmithgolf approach shots from 130yds and in and wedges those awkward yardages like 35 65 80 105 115yds and how you play them ie do you use the clock system with your wedges
@@davehurley26 nice one. Will do. 👍
Hi Stuart do you hover with your driver or rest it on the ground and which is best for amateurs
When i use a higher tee i tend to just lift the club before i backswing but this is not a conscious move. If you are working on hitting up on the ball i would rest on the floor (lower the better to get the feeling of the up hit) but generally i like you to just make sure you are relaxed on that first move away from the ball. Some people like to float to do this and some get tense floating. Its quite personal but give them both a try and see which one feels most relaxed.
Stuart you make Rick Shield and many other TH-cam pros look like a bunch of novice’s
That’s mate, sadly I’ve done it many more times as most of them so I have a head start. Lol seriously though it’s just as exciting to me to get some half decent golf filmed and if some of my old tips can help anyone I’m double chuffed. Thanks for the support. 👍
