Completely off topic, but it's nice to think that once you change old patterns via the present, that present will become the past it'll be based upon and slowly build a better future.
@@lateksipumppu You change patterns you dislike by trying to destroy the old ones, and slowly starting to building up a new foundation. Eventually you'll build a new structure with that new, sturdy foundation. (The foundation is the "past it will be based upon" aka the main base of that structure you've built overtime)
I think what you said is true. Sometimes ago , in my work area, I was actually in a very melancholy mood, when someone walk pass me and give me a amicable friendly smile. Immediately, my mood uplifted and I was not that depressed anymore. 🐖😊😿🐘
With all the recent developments indicating "free will" as we know it doesn't exist, this makes a lot of sense. Also, I'd say cognitive dissonance only occurs when it threatens one's self-positivity bias. Conflicts of ideas that don't threaten the ego in some way typically don't cause the discomfort associated with CD. Def think both of these theories are true. Your mind and body play off each other. It's a dialectic.
Foot in the door, is the sink costs fallacy in cognitive dissonance. Also does this mean system justification falsely says it's based on cognitive dissonance when it's based on self perception theory ?

You will remain in that state of being ugly your whole life, even if you said that as a joke. You're the type of guy that when a girl rejects you, you say that all women are the same and love don't exist. Don't pity yourself when you'll have a miserable life, you created that life with your self perception. Good luck!
Meh, mirrors do lie based on how you view yourself. Someone who is not viewed as being attractive could look at the mirror and love the reflection. Likewise, someone who looks at the mirror who is viewed widely as being attractive could be very self-critical. It is mostly based on how you view yourself. Be kinder to yourself.
Your body language influences your mind, and your mind influences your body language. this is the psychosomatic mind-body connection.
Aha good😊

Is this anything like 'fake it til you make it'?
That’s in regards to getting to a goal vs building a new idea into your mind
If smiling made you happier everyone would do it, it just ain't that simple
Theory
This is an amazing theory
Fake it till you make it?
Yeah
Very simplified, yes
Kinda

Informative video😊
Can you tell which program you use for the graphics in your videos (all the painting)?
Both exist, sometimes one outweigh the other
Attitude follows behaviors

I smiled at my reflection. Never again. I'm an ugly as f***. Mirrors don't lie.

Oh it's great theory... But I think both are true
