I know, its a bit posh but workshop day is only every other Saturday and it is 50% social (maybe 80%....). Anyway ,I have seen the tucker that Wilms dishes you up on your adventures, you got no grounds for envy old bloke. The young fella is taking his Coffee machine now it's all fixed, I found another at the tip and may have to fix it as I rather like a coffee machine in Johns workshop :-)
She’s looking very smart Steve, and I like the idea of mating the electric motor to the transfer case, rather than with a traditional heavy flywheel and gearbox. Well done to you all, especially Barker 🐕 have a great weekend 😊
Thanks Ian, Barker is going well, she grows whilst you watch her (and eats accordingly). Having a very wet weekend with our 3rd round of floods.... Hope you are going well buddy.
"Old blokes making ball jokes" and a dog called Barker - what more could you want? Love the project and want to do something similar to my S1. Cheers from the UK.
Still a hell of a long way to go Jules. We are going to buy a smaller test battery pack and get it all going to test concept but will need to get some sponsorship or in kind support of some kind to afford the full 25Kw battery pack (or bigger depending on $$)
Bloody coffee and cake in the workshop! You blokes are the real deal. Even a barista. This is a professional outfit Steve. I’m green with envy.

You guys are living the dream , cool garage, NO rain 🌧.....
Thanks Myles, we like rain when we get it but it's pretty perfect weather most of the time.
Nice job of explaining the recirculating ball system 'English Steve' (AKA Dad)!
Ha, Hi Hannah - English Steve is very knowledgeable and fun to have around, thanks for the lovely chocolate cake btw, delicious!! :-)
You're very welcome. Glad you enjoyed it! :)

@@VintageRestorationsAustralia I take it second hand / wrecker battery packs are still expensive and/or hard to come by in Oz?
@@MRclimberman1 The wreckers pay high prices for them and the battrey life is usually half done.
Nice work guys, big job but looking great!
Thanks Stu, its a loooong build I gotta say, there is a lot to be said for a running project.
Hi What motor and controller have you used? I take it the motor bolts straight onto the existing gear box?
Barker is becoming a real character. Great dog.
I bet half the old man ball jokes had to be cut from the video to keep it g rated too.
Ha Ben your dead right, some heavy editing done :-)
With a powerful electric motor like that, the splines, gears, drive members, transfercases and the like will keep the mechanics busy...
She'll be right, we need to get sponsorship for the battery pack or it may get a standard motor refitted.
Sounds like the mechanics will be busy one way or the other....
Guys wt kind of motor r u using plz mention in d description
Details are in the previous video th-cam.com/video/JnXcTM0A3L0/w-d-xo.html
Nice, but should have installed a v8 🤣
