DUDE! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for uploading this AWESOME concert take! I can't get enough of this raw masterful footage of perhaps the greatest guitar player/bluesman ever! I had never seen him use a bottleneck on the Lazer before! Precious and SO rare!
I was at this show...all his 70's capitol shows, he played with openers like Roy Buchanan, Ronnie Montrose, Edger Winter, Dicky Betts....GREAT TIMES!They made the MISTAKE of letting some jersey local garage band called "bangiovi" open for montrose...They were boo'd off the stage, later became "jon bon jovi"..they were assaulted by 300 beers hitting them at one time, NOT good mix when real rockers are in room waiting to hear "bad motoscooter"...GREAT TIMES
Eric Clapton may have gone to the Crossroads and made a deal with the Devil, but Johnny went there, bought the land, built a house and made the Devil his doorman.

Who is on drums ? Its usually Bobby Torrello
That there is a drummer!
He was in Santana as a teenager killing it at Woodstock.

Look at the row of Marshalls .. was Johnny using them at this time ?
Nope. His Musicman is on stage to his right...
It was a Night of Guitar type gig with multiple big names playing .
