@@MathersOnTheMap It was also great to see that you chose Löyly instead of the Allas Sea Pool. Löyly offers the best and most authentic public sauna experience of the real Finnish sauna that I have ever seen. Temperatures, design, same saunas shared with male and female and of course the drinks 👍🙂 Especially the smoke sauna is as good as it gets.
Yea I agree, we really enjoyed it. We rarely go in saunas back home so at first the smoke sauna was so hot I couldn’t take too long, especially with the steam. But we started to build up our tolerance and towards the end we loved how hot it got and preferred the smoke sauna and could stay in it for awhile

Dang! You had the wrong soup. That was bouillabaisse, not the traditional creamy salmon soup. Very good, though, but not the same nor is it traditionally Finnish.
I know! When we were walking out I saw another place serving the creamy one and I was pissed I missed it! We had a chance to have it in Rovaniemi and it was delicious

I think bathing suits are required but I’m not entirely sure. Everyone had bathing suits on when we were there
