Fun fact. We have the Emu & Kangaroo as our shield/national emblem. Reason why is because both animals are native to Australia and neither animal can walk backwards, so our country should always walk forward and never go backwards.

Poor Mr Jessie his house is starting to fall apart. It’s so nice of you to show your southern kindness and help him out. I so enjoy watching your videos, you take my mind off of all my problems. I sure wish I could come to your farm and help feed all the animals and bring my little dog and let him run around and meet nugget. Wishing you a very happy new year.
Just like a kid, they play with the box and not what you thought they'd like that came inside it, lol. The dogs were on duty all night so they sleep in the daytime when the alarm system is up and running. Smart dogs!

Loving owners of a Emu purchase a children's swim pool for enjoyment. Emu walks off towards the creak and walks in. Ducks come along and discover the new paddle pool. Reaction is priceless. Nice share.

I'm going to tell you EXACTLY why Nugget isn't taking to that new pool. It isn't purple! His original pool was purple - and he snubbed the next one ( it wasn't purple). His favorite water bucket is purple.
Nugget likes the color purple. Period! He's like a little girl that wants to decorate her whole bedroom in purple. Those other pools are okay but they aren't purple.
However the ducks love it.

Got my Chicken Love shirt yesterday. So happy with it. I understand what you mean about service of the smaller stores. I had a friend constantly tell me to get my chicken feed from Costo. But it was worth the little bit of extra cost to go to the local feed store where they would load it for me. And it feels good to support the local stores.

Bless your family. I have two kiddos who struggle, and I would love it so much if we had sweet neighbors who would treat them every once in awhile, since they are unable to fully care for themselves. You are definitely blessing more than this one individual.
I love everything about Cog Hill, the walking through the chores and telling us great bit’s of information! When you all started talking about Nana and the Snow suits in Alabama it mage me belly laugh! I think Nana needs to stay in the Vlogs. ❤️

Australian Funky Fact: Emus are the only birds that have calf muscles! They can also walk long distances with ease, moving at a steady speed to find sources of food. Emus love water, and are surprisingly good swimmers. When bathing, they don't splash themselves using their wings as other birds do.

I love that I can watch this with my kids. We have ducks and chickens, now the girls want goats too. We are big fans and y’all have inspired us to do a garden in 2021.
He went down to tell the ducks he got a new blue pool and to stay out. Then he went about his daily routine. The ducks were conversating and laughing. Then got right in as everyone knew they would. Thankful🥰 ✌🏻❤️

Stumbled on your channel 2 days ago while watching the Massachusetts 2-day blizzard outside my windows that dumped 15" of heavy, wet snow for this 68-year-young woman to shovel by hand because I've never owned a snow blower - let me say, I was binging your channel taking shoveling breaks the last 3 days. (Pssssttt!!!!! Nugget! My fave color is purple, too!!!!!!!!!!) As for the sleds on Mom's porch...never say never!!!!!! I love your relationship with each other and with all your critters. The love you share renewed my energy to keep going back out and shoveling more snow. I certainly don't know all the names yet, but I'm sure I will soon! Thank you for sharing your life with us all.

That Peaches moves pretty fast for a "thick chick"! Those frizzy chickens are so pretty! Poor Nugget and his purple bucket! He is being social with the goats and sharing a meal with them ! How are you going to empty that pool every day to clean?? The ducks are going to have a ball in their new " lake"!! Nugget is looking and saying, " I have to check this new thing out, it has water but it isn't purple!! I don't know if I can use it! I'll have to think about this tonight!" God Bless!

This is my first time watching. I would love to live on a place like yours with all the animals. They are fantastic! OMG... you're hatching out babies. I got to do that in 5th grade. From that I got to take a rooster home. When he got older he got to go to my great-uncle's farm. It was so great having the rooster. I had ducks some years ago...they are gone now. It was a terrific experience having them follow me around and hanging out with my dog.

Happy New Year guys, all the best for 2021, from Chad up here in snowy Ontario, Canada. My Sheepdog puppy just saw snow for the first time... she loves it. She was running around our farm like Mad Dog Molly. My chickens just laid me a teeny tiny egg too. Our first chicken egg!!! Now we have ducks and chickens laying. Awesome feeling. Cheers!

True! I'm curious as to why they stopped looking for a mate for Nugget. The CogHills friend that gave them Nugget (in egg form) gave them access to other eggs which didn't come to fruition - then what happened?
First time to your channel. I was intrigued by Nugget and his new pool. I really love how you talk to each other and the way you take care of your property and animals. They seem to love you too. I loved it and now I have hubby saying it. I live on the Left coast in good ole' Calif. Boy would I love to move out of here but unless and until hubby is ready to go, I stick by my man. I love your animals' names. Nugget is an emu, Goat is a chicken, Emu is a chicken, Private Investigating Turkey, Peaches the pig, etc. I think also a cat is named Turkey? Plus, the classic motherly names for the other hens.
