Tell your friends that has the coop to paint it now before the weather changes. The coop is not cheap, but the wood is the very cheapest and warps from any water. The thick paint seals the wood and the edges and keeps the water out. Tell them good luck with all the chickens and prayers.

Nugget's so precious. he may seem to scare all the smaller fowls, but you can tell he's real careful not to trample them and always slows down. I used to be kinda scare of emus and ostriches, but the Nugz made me realize how sweet they can be.

My family and I are 1 month into our new homestead we got 5 laying hens and a rooster as a house warming gift. Have you thought about putting skids under that box trailer. Then when you need to clean under it you can pull it over to a new spot. Easy clean out. I love your channel and your daughter is so knowledgeable and cute.

I live in the Pac NW and we have regular sustained power outages. Make inserts filled with sand from socks or pillow slips and put near the fire or in the oven/grill in a metal bucket to put inside the incubator and cover the outside with multiple blankets and or cardboard. You can use a pan of rocks too. Good radiant heat source for brooder and coops too.
We are also having raccoon problems here on the Mississippi Coast. Seems they have gone crazy this year attacking people. Glad y’all did this video telling people to watch out for them.
