I might wanna point something out. I think I know why the JJG been less of a threat in Zone 2 and 3(specifically zone 3)because their AI keeps walking into the wall thinking the fake wall route is open for them to go through. Hope to god GE fixes them to walk through the maze normally like the other monsters and know when the route is open or not. Apologies if this was too obvious for anyone😅. I also want to point out that Hangry technically has a secret ability called RNG Telekinesis only in Zone 2
There are a lot of bugs in this level, sometimes joykill just stays still and does nothing, while the cooldown of the jump isn't zero, it will stay still
You probably saved my true ending dark deception, THANK YOU
if you're a scaredy cat like me or you're just too lazy to maneuver, here's some tricks:
go back to the ring alter and make sure you maxed out teleport, you're gonna need it.
ZONE 1 TRICKS:
in the corridor before zone 1, you can run past the lasers, do that.
activate teleport and aim the circle past the door in front of you. this will trigger the cutscene but you can freely collect shards.
go grab all the secrets and collect all shards BUT ONE, if you collect all shards before triggering the first zone it will softlock the game.
after leaving one shard to collect (preferably near the barrier) head back to the beginning and trigger zone 1, all you gotta do now is go grab that last shard and zone one is finished.
ZONE 2 TRICKS:
similar to zone 1, you can skip the zone trigger.
when you enter zone 2, go TO one of the doors but dont open it. teleport past them and the cutscene wont play.
go around and collect all but one shard, be sure to collect bonus shards.
go back to the door and activate the cutscene and collect the last shard, and then go grab the secret at the end.
unfortunately i dont have any tricks for zone 3, as the cutscene trigger is click detected and you need hangry to break a wall for the secret. hope this helps though :)

@@Dark_Indoraptor hey, I remember having a lot of trouble in that too but keep trying and if you really want you can use the exploit in all zones, I wouldn’t recommend it tho. If you do want to know how reply to this comment :)

34:25 while i was getting my s rank i found something quite interesting. i activated the piston but it kept turning and missed joykill every time. after a few cycles it stopped and i had to pull the 4 levers again to turn it back on
36:38 the ring altar will melt if hit by a laser (including laser balls) you can just stand on the platform and its quite safe. infact its safer then where joy kill can walk and jump around.
I thought penny said "You Again?!" but I was probably wrong this whole time lol

I like how most of the time for zone 2 is just hangry breaking walls.
Animatronics then (fnaf logic): More broken= more Powerful, harder to deal with
Animatronics now (DD logic): More broken= less power, easier to deal with

Honestly the first zone would be SO MUCH BETTER if Penny didn't literally spam the flying ability
im saying this before i watch the video i use the powers mostly as this first telephaty to look around, telekinesis if the area is quite clear when being chased for safest escape vanish and speedbost mostly use teleport to get trough a trap quick and only use primal fear when necesarry

Uh Angelo I have a question:
When I played that, I can teleport into zone 1 and trigger the enemy spawn later; and when I beat Joy Kill the game crashed. Did they patch those things though? Just curious
I mean teleport into zone 1 during Lucky's monologue
It's not patched yet.
Still, I wouldn't recommend using that exploit.

So I've been trying this over and over for a while now and I am starting to get really frustrated with the Zone 3 secret as Hangry just refuses to cooperate and break the wall.
Everything involving Hangry in this level is just terrible.

I need help with this, for some reason it bugs out for me and doesn't count certian bonus shards, I need 3 to do ti right? For some reason I have 2 stun orbs spawn, and 3 reveal shards, but only the stun orbs count, and I can never get it to work, done it over like 10-15 times and still nothing
Reveal Shards are the bonus shards. Don't worry about the stun orbs.
You might be very unlucky with the stun orb spawn or this bug might only occur for certain PCs (since I've seen people having this issue before.)
it worked, I could get all the bonus shards, thanks, but now the shard streak is acting up for me, and I died in zone 2 with 1 left, sadly, but I should of gotten all of them, says I got 150 shard streak
@@jacksonconant2959 If you get another shard streak after you died, there is a chance the game will count that instead of highest one you got. Try to avoid dying after you get the shard streak or before finishing Zone 3.

The devs didn't upgrade the game as far as I'm aware, but Angelo reposted the video to update the mechanics in zone 2 for a better experience or something like that.

You only get it by buying it individually or just getting DD Complete which is just all the chapters at a discount

hey dud, i have a question, i have been doing this level over and over again and making sure i get all the secrets, i even counted each one on a notepad to make sure i wasnt crazy, When i have all 5 secrets and get to the end of the level it only says 4/5 secrets. I am on normal mode too.
There is a secret near the elevator before you go down to Zone 2. It will not count if you try to get it.
It will only count if you try to grab it after escape Joy Kill.
