The Bandaged: Surface level uglyness. Deformity brought about by birth or injury. Not seeing what lies underneath--only what's wrong. Additionally, a sort of weakness, petulence and even impotence. The Covering: Denial, by masking, disguising, and dressing something up as 'pretty'. A way of pretending everything is fine and lovely, by not addressing it for what it really is. Additionally, a sort of incompetence, ungracefulness, and even slight desperation. The Crystal: Denial by violence. Reflecting upon oneself, finding what one sees as displeasing or anger-inducing, and lashing out. This being because what's reflected is painful, and attempting to subjugate or destroy it. Also, a sort of fear, horror, and cowardice. The Gatekeeper: Denial by isolation & repression. Dressing it up didn't work, and lashing out at it didn't work, so one attempts to simply lock it away, so as to never have to confront it again. Attempting to simply compartmentalize and bury it away, hiding behind walls, locks, keys, chains and cages. A sort of cowardice again, in addition to restraining oneself. The Poisoned: Denial by indulgence & numbness. Even after it's been hidden away, the thought still nags at one's mind. Thus, it needs to be drowned out with alchohol, sex, or some other base urge. It addles the mind and numbs the senses, distracting (like the Covering) from the problem. Additionally blindness, entitlement, and impatience. The Flames: Ruin. Cover it, kill it, lock it away, or drown it out--all of those coping mechanisms were kindling for the fuel that was the original problem & uglyness. And one little spark set it all off. All is laid bare, all is mangled, mutilated, and destroyed. There is no escaping it anymore, and it was all brought one by oneself. Cruelty, madness, and pain. Run, jump, and flail all you like, try to flee. But you understand finally that you will never escape.
Boss 3 is really interesting to me. I love the idea of trying to platform while your mirror self has to dodge attacks. It's neat! I think that it should have more to it, and be longer.
To be honest I watched a theory and forgot it but all I remember is that there’s a room that the guy showed with something bubbling, and he said “some poisons take longer to brew” So I can see is that either someone poisoned him and he caused the fire turning him to look somewhat like his son?? And the bosses turn out to be things he went through, the bandaged thingy was him after the incident, covered in pink guy was him covering up portraits of himself like the things we see as we play through the game. Lock boss was him isolating himself? If that’s the case. Shards guy if I’m correct in the order was him breaking all the mirrors as he sees himself as ugly like his son. The drunken guy was him getting wasted as fuck. Then fire guy was the accident. And I guess if we are playing as the king which at first we think is his son, I can guess he is reliving the memories of him tormenting his son, fuckin’ his maids and discarding his baby’s he brought in this work and murdering the maids as I think we go into a dungeon.
It's likely that the fire didn't actually do any lasting damage, excluding the small scar we see him bear at the very end, and even that small blemish was too much for him to bear
Honestly these bosses aren’t good, with the fourth boss being the worst, and the second boss being the best. The final boss could’ve been good but it’s way too annoying.
Sometimes a good boss can be an annoying one. Yes the bosses aren't perfect but I've had a fun time fighting them and learning what they were representing all this time
Who's making these clones? Do people honestly expect over 10 dollars for such simple games that they make putt putt and Freddy fish look next Gen unreal engine level?
I finally understood that all the bosses represented the stages the main character went through after those full body burns...
In the true ending he wasn't burned he only had a small scar under his eye
Bruh... Did he kill himself because of that? I knew he was an egotistical narcissist but even that got its limits!
@@ciriafox2408 wait so he DOESN’T become bald and get a red nose? The fire only gave him a scar?
@@foxbox.9277 yep in fact that's how he saw his son

Jeez. It makes sense but seeing all at once. Jeeeeeez. Thank you kind Game Poet

One of the Crash Bandicoot games on GBA had such a boss as well.

Visually this game is amazing. Buy holy fuck some of those bosses are either unfair af or just. Way too short and boring
I just think 5th boss was funny, just giving a dude a drink is a bossfight

The bosses were very frustrating, that's all i can think of when talking about bosses in this game

Sounds like you are just bad at the game

@@Theorys.and.lore.About.jEn18 Being good at the game doesnt make underwhelming bosses better 🤡🤡🤡

Good job!! Keep making more. The visual design was beautiful and the story was really cool too.
Your boss battles will improve :D
The boss fights aren’t well done, but it’s forgivable due to the fact the story is impeccable.
Really? They don’t look that bad

Very interesting game design I'm very interested in this🌹
The first boss is my favorite.
There is another ending
Really? What is it?

Is this game only on pc?
I believe so edit also on switch
It's on mobile now also (Android for sure, not sure about Apple)
I love the Mummy boss
The 2nd boss looks cool
I'm stuck at slime boss☠️ why is he damn fast bruh
all these bosses: *confronting yourself plays*
Que pasaba si en lugar de irte recto usabas la habilidad de el espejo y lo ponias en su lugar
The ending is a endless loop?
No at trird play thought(if I'm not wrong) he just hang himself and some people come and sing
It's not just no all bosses channels ever put the true ending for some reason
Cool
Какие угли?
Ему дом топить нечем
Every single boss here is lame exept the final i like the fire face
BUT THE SECOND WAS DISGUSTING🤮
Yo whats this cuphead rip off lol
Not even close to that
Not even *remotely* close.

Idk, looks pretty fun to me
I disagree, this is well made and doesn’t look to be a direct clone of anything at all
this is original stuff bruh what clone?☠️
Clone of what?
Bait used to be believable.
Id like this game if only its cost under 3$. Too expensive
This game has a length of multiple hours and detailed animation. Not even most cheap mobile games cost under $3,
This game worth more than a lot of AAA launched recently
you won't understand bow games like these are actually more worth
