Nah bro the one on steam sas 4 is litterly just the mobile port the pc port that was on the ninja kiwi website was a whole other game compared to the mobile port
imo its not really worth it anymore to start playing this game these days because many bugs also devs don't care about this game anymore and its just the same grind which makes this game really boring. Also I think that there is no need for sas5 since sas4 still has still lots of potential for new stuff but yeah we can only hope that this game keeps getting updated even though it won't really help the game much cuz most updates are bad. Good video btw.
I grinded the hell out of this game back in middle school. I recently installed it on my phone (my old account for some reason didnt carry over so i had to start over) I genuinely been having a fun grind with it. The factions, contracts, and LTMs definitely helps with longevity as they give rewards for playing, even if you dont rank high. Edit: about the mission with the humam enemies, i do recall a old mission where you defend an outpost and the soldiers who reside there turn on you and you fight them. For some reason, it looks like they removed this mission.
That mission also included a truck portion, and I'm convinced that it would've been faster if the players could just walk. Sprinters are one thing, but that truck was regularly outpaced by bloaters and riot shields.
The steam player count isnt even close to being indicative of whether the game is active, since steam players are a very small fraction of the playerbase whereas mobile players make up most of it. As for the updates, they missed the mark with those in terms of what the game needs, although flashy stuff like a new map and weapons still bring in casual players.
Rating of all the SAS4 ZA maps Onslaught: Very good for starters when they join the game, which then goes on till you play it with players in that map Vaccine: Very amazing for you and the players to travel in 4 groups to find the Vaccine in the planet where the lab is located Survivors: very outstanding due to having Credits when you save the survivors and grind all of them and even killing zombies that tries to get to the survivors (which again is for fun not a grinding game lol) VIP: Very low good despite having to watch and protect this one VIP guy the whole time when you have to react to incoming zombies around trying to get you and him Power Out: very VERY Good due to you and your team must get the power back on for the hospital and the wall around them to see the zombies, and plus it gets easy and harder and harder every time you come back to the waypoint to find infected turrets, infected mech robots and even a infected mech as a boss (and random bosses come) Last Stand: very good as it started off as the last map to the game as you keep on going to kill as MUCH zombies that you cannot let one pass through you, and very good for a final of it Recovery: VERY LEGENDARY, no joke, this map is good you can never tell how much players came back after this game got back on its feets and spawned in cars and newer enemies as bandits, what a great way to find this whole entire SAS4 ZA community to be alive Game: Outstanding, Awesome, Legendary, Nostalgia
recovery only active to the community temporarily, it is a very open map and a bit boring if it weren't for the cars that add the fun and its SAS3 easter egg, I think it's a pathetic attempt to replace meltdown, the developers don't understand that we want that map
@@hamborger24I think it's a great map, my favourite for Nightmare mode and there's so many zombies and I love the Easter egg, I just wish they removed that arbitrary zombie limit and made it Infinite on screen like in SAS 3 which would make it so much more fun and better and I'd finally be able to fully test out my weapons. Sure it's no Meltdown but it's still very cool. Also what do you mean that it's only active temporarily?? Are they going to remove it and why if they are??
As someone who has played the flash version of Sas 4 for the longest time I feel as if the steam version is just the cashgrab version of the original game. One thing I like in games is the ability to create builds with ease, this is what the flash version's crafting system did for me while the steam version did not. Secondly, I like games that are not extremely grindy. The flash version of the game had a major bug called "self boosting" where you would basically join your own private match with 3 extra instances of your account which would make the difficulty much harder while giving a much better reward while the steam version did not. Thirdly the steam version of sas 4 does not have the maps meltdown and ice station, which were two of my favorite maps. Now the servers to sas 4 flash are closed and most of the game's best mechanics are now unable to be used and the game is essentially dead with the exception of the players who make their own servers for the game (Which im not spending money or computer resources or time on). I hope that when sas 5 does release it is an actually good game with a lot of time and effort put into it.
I really hate the steam version, the reason is I feel like it lost that dark and grittiness that the 3rd game had. but the flash version has the dark feeling of the 3rd game which I really enjoy I really wish they would of made the steam version more like the flash version :(
What I love about Sas ZA 4 is that unlike with many other rpgs. In this game you can actually have gears to be on par with enemies instead being underpowered no matter what and die in 1 hit.
I'd love to see a console release of the series. Kinda like a legacy collection consisting of SAS 1, 2, 2 Asylum, 3, and 4. I always wanted to see SAS 3 on console with multiplayer support. Technically I can hook up my pc to my TV and play these games but personally would love a system release. Wish they gave these games more love.
I first played this game back in 2014 on kongregate. Just getting back into it now in 2024 and it brings a lot of nostalgia. Just a pity I couldn't access my old account but c'est la vie.

I'm still surprised there's still people playing that game though, I remember I couldn't get enough of that game back in the day, me and my friends would ALWAYS play it when we'd get back from high school. I can still dream about a FPS conversion of this game to this day... A-anyway!... 😅 Your channel has earned my sub just with that video and definitely that joke alone! It means a lot how much you enjoyed the video and the game to leave this comment and subscribe! If SAS 5 ever comes out, I'll be here to review it!
The fact that there’s an update in 2023 means the devs are still around from time to time and is a small bit of hope that there might be an SAS 5 Booya!
I stop playing this game for years and I decided to come back playing it I even got one of my friends little brother to play this as well and I got him addicted to it 😄
What I really don't enjoy is that past level 30 the game gets very, very grindy, and that's where the best content is, aren't half the red weapons estimated to drop around level 100? Once you get the hang of the gameplay you have to play the same 5 modes and barely anything is challenging or different. Nowadays, the game is buggy as hell, players disconnect and then you are left in singleplayer with a higher difficulty than what you'd be capable of handling. I suppose it's not something to play 6 hours a day, but with just one hour you barely get progress. I'm not sure how I'd make it better, but in this state it's just extremely repetitive.
They should do a weapon lineup regarding our favorite scifi movies like the Aliens Pulse rifle, Terminator plasma rifle, starship troopers Beretta, etc etc

SAS5 is not going to come out, ninja kiwi even said they dont have plans for sas5 and thats actually a good thing, because sas4 has alot of potential and nobody wants to grind sas5 even longer than sas4, is already tiring in sas4
Sas 4 is probably one of THE most nostalgic series of games ninja kiwi has made, Honestly I never thought the game would ever update again seeing as how for 5 years I was waiting for an update and it never came but when it did oh boy it was a good one, Sas is a game where most of it is just grinding but let's be honest it's incredibly enjoyable. Also as for your question, You really should check out the old sas games especially sas 3 as that was the one that really made me a big fan of this.
2:54 I imagine that joining an SAS4 Discord server would make finding a team for that much easier, wouldn't it? Or are you even able to party up with people like that? Also, the map you show off is a nice addition. I used to play this game a ton a few years ago, but it was before that map came out. Back then I felt like the game was limited because of how few maps it had. I always wanted to see more because I felt like I was playing the same few over and over. I still enjoyed the heck out of it and played it alot, but if they were to add a handful of extra, high quality maps, then SAS4 would be added to my permanent mobile library alongside the games Moonshades and Hero Auto Chess:PVE. I found myself repeating this one particular map over and over because it dropped alot more loot crates than the others. So I ended up getting burnt out. If there were several more options for grinding your level ups and gear then I don't think I'd get burned out on it. I really enjoy a good gear grind. That's why Moonshades is in my top 3 mobile games of all time. It's a kickass old school dungeon crawler where you level up and get skills points as well as collect gear for your 2 heroes. Gear is level based so you'll constantly be finding newer, stronger gear and upgrading accordingly. There is also a forge that you use to strengthen your gear by added skill books that increase certain stats. Or by using a tier upgrade stone that levels up a particular piece of gear. You can also take 4 pieces of gear of the same tier and use a forge rune to upgrade them into 1 piece of gear of the next rarity. Once you get legendaries, you can take them to the forge and fuse them with the proper items to upgrade that legendary into a relic. Relics are the strongest rarity in the game. So your goal is to grind for legendaries and the stuff you need to make a relic. Then pimp out your two heroes with full relic gear. Which would take quite awhile so you've got plenty of hours of gameplay just with that. Let alone finding all the secrets and everything in all of the dungeons. Which is a fun task all on its own. Anyways, lol sorry for the Moonshades rant. It's fun though and you should check it out. I just started a new game 2 days ago and grinded my team to level 17 within one day. Mind you I played for like 8 hours straight lol. ✌️ Out!
Damn man you love the classic games lol, SAS Zombie Assault and I go way back. I started with the first and ended with the 4th, havent booted it up in a good while

actually, while I was playing this with other players the new mission has the sas 3 map in it and the map is very large. multiple task to do, surviving each horde. last time I almost got killed by a devestator, overall the new mission is very cool
Are there any updated plans to include a Crafting System , where you got the Alloy to craft Weapons and Armor in both Steam and Mobile Phones since the Adobe Flash Player for PC is gone forever?
They only keep updating bloons td as if sas 4 doesn't exist, they dont know how much players are so sad that the game is "kinda" dead, and many left due to it
