I find the differences between standard and red variants very strange. Why does standard Hornet have 1 extra RPS when compared to RED/BLACK? Why does the HVM Carbon Fiber Vest have -5% movement but the RED variant doesn't? Very strange stuff. Weird stuff aside, I REALLY like the editing and the presentation in this video. Good stuff! Edit: At the end you mentioned suggestions. Maybe in your level 15-35 video you could show us a compilation of what NOT to do in events (12 points in pay grade, Hardplate Gauntlets + Helmet combo, level 20 skills, etc. basically just point and laugh at pub lobby noobs) Besides that goofy suggestion, maybe show players at the end of the video some basic tips to prepare for Nightmare Mode. The biggest tips for me would be avoiding noob trap level 20 perks, and also using a weapon to KILL enemies and a different weapon to STUN enemies (important for early Nightmare so you don't get team wiped by Sav Reggie worms or Nightmare Runners).
@@papabear7457 Whenever I do a fresh character (no collections) I usually go straight for the FW RED Stripper, and then the RED Shockfield. That combo can steamroll until you get KS/HTL maxed, at which point you ditch Stripper. The main issue there isn't damage, but reload times. I'll usually find myself reloading when there are runners coming for me even when I'm being cautious. You don't necessarily *need* a weapon to stun, you could always drop Zues/Cryo turrets when you get cornered to finish your reload, but that's not always an option. I only recommend stun weapons because it is the *easiest way to solo pub lobbies.* It's never a good idea to trust teammates, even if they have good gear *unless you know they're good* (they're using meta build and have very low MP losses).

The reload is about one second (I usually don't have standard Titan gloves at this point, nor do I have the Mako gloves so we're looking at 25% reload from gloves max) and the time it takes to eat up 5 rounds is half a second. RED Shockfield is strong, but 5 rounds in a single clip vs. Nightmare energy resilient runners? You're just asking for trouble there. And then we have the Savage Regurgitator worms, which are more than capable of wiping low level Nightmare squads even if they somehow manage to scrape through the hordes of zombies. The worms can be handled with just 5 shots pretty easily, and you can run fast enough to reload to finish off any you missed, but usually you're dealing with more than just Reggie worms in those situations. You may feel inclined to point out that I mentioned running with RED Stripper earlier, so you may suggest that I just switch to that instead, but how well does DoT handle Reggie swarms? Not well. There's also situations where you might be cornered by hordes of Bloaters and you can't kill them fast enough (again, this is extremely situational, but I'd rather never lose a Nightmare match because I brought an AoE stun than lose potential Nantoniums). I've found that Assault's Killing Spree is extremely inconsistent for some reason, so it will often end up not triggering at all for me despite the fact that it should have activated, which often leads to me dying in situations like this. TL;DR: There is no downside to having a secondary weapon to stun in tough situations when your primary weapon is already capable of easily killing bosses. Having said backup guarantees that you will win every match you play.

So as of right now I cannot provide proof, but I can tell you that at level 35-40 Nightmare Mode without a carry is very difficult without decent preparation. You don't need RED Shockfield or Stripper to survive, you can easily mob/boss with the RED Raptor or even the Standard Stripper, but reload times are a killer at low levels especially when combined with low movement speeds provided by armor. With Nightmare carries, stunlock weapons are not a necessity, but when you are alone in a group of dogshit pub players you're going to want to have some backup plans.
@@papabear7457 Yeah, Jupiter/Stripper combo shreds everything. Unfortunately for me, I've never gotten my hands on a single standard Jupiter during my entire time playing the game. I have 2 level 60's, a level 89, two level 30's, and at least 10 level 15-25's (mostly LMS Medics that get deleted and replaced) and I haven't found one. I should note that I like to take my time and prepare for tough content as well, and I barely ever touch XP Contracts, so the fact that I've never found one is very painful.
Pretty good video, I'm currently heavily stagnant at around 34-36 mainly because my equipment isn't the best. My Medic is still with a normal Jupiter, while good, doesn't really do damage to Bosses. My Assault has 2 black LMGs, and those are the only blacks I have.

Nope. The cost goes from $2,000 for Killing Machine to $50,000. You won't make a profit from selling turrets, you'd lose probably 80% or more of what you put in.
@@chenivan6171 You should only purchase those perks before level 30. This means from level 1-29, it's fair game. Buy it as much as physically possible, both Tank and Killing Machine perks. Ignore High Roller. Once you hit level 30, sell all of your grenades and turrets in the Support menu. Do your best to not place any turrets and don't throw grenades, so you get as much money as possible once you do hit level 30.

Nope. The cost goes from $2,000 for Killing Machine to $50,000. You won't make a profit from selling turrets, you'd lose probably 80% or more of what you put in.
