Cheers mate! Na rail, injectors, ecu. 4 bar fpr .Fg xr6 turbo map sensor. I havent changed valve springs they are okay at lower boost levels. But I am going bigger injectors and up the boost soon so I'll find out where the valves aren't happy power and boost wise soon :)
Hey man the butterfly has been sorted, I just cut and sealed the vacuum line, butterfly is wide open constantly :) cheers though I should of mentioned it 👌

Manual transmission is a must . The standard Auto isn't up to scratch, I wouldn't buy a used XR6 turbo with an auto transmission with more than 60,000 k's your basically buying junk after that
@@JunkyardDogffaThe 5 speed manual trans was a bit outdated and notchy. You can improve them with nulon or Penrite additives,I think Ford got the six speed manual gearbox from a German manufacturer , I think it was available in the BF XR 6 XR8 at the latter part of 2007 onwards but I'm not 100% sure, apparently they were also a longer gear box, so that would involve sourcing a shorter tail shaft or shortening your existing one of you are a skilled enough artisan 😏
an ebay china conversion does work, but eventually within the year at best, bits fall off..and you will be selling it for parts. Thats my experience anyway..but it was fun while it lasted.
Polish the water pump get all that shit of it, and it will be near perfect god i love my barras, i have a xr6 2010 fg, and its stock at the moment, but I saved these videos for when i turbo it, im on my greens at the moment, so another year to go

I gathered the bits from mainly Ebay and a wrecker over time, I've got a video showing what you will need and what I used if you wanna check it out 👌 about 1700 before the tune but you could do it cheaper :)

@@lachlancashion3200 the markets a bit all over the place atm, but you seem to be able to pick then up for 1000-2500 for a decent working one, at this age there is usually a couple things wrong with them but you get that.. as for kms the lower the better but I've seen people do these conversions on 285000km+ engines with success of you dont get to greedy with power 👍

You haven't removed the butterfly solenoid airline on the inlet plenum to make it inoperable?...is worth doing bro,nice job

I only ever drive using the sequential shifter on the btr. I can't stand the way it shifts by itself.

Hey mate it was 10mm thick, then 565mm X 208mm as the functioning core size. Total with the 2.5 outlets its 800mm wide :) definately worth a crack 👍

Pod filter, no blow off valve and the intercooler kit all help with the sound :)
