    Hey! Thanks for the review my dude this means a lot! It's always very validating to hear such positive feedback! Last year when we started out there was a lot of skepticism around the mechanics of PKs but we've been winning people over one sale after the other. Once people try these and it clicks and they experience that level of freedom, power and safety it becomes very hard to go back to shin pads. Like you said there are still room for shin pads in certain scenario but PKs are simply more mechanically sound for proper athletic form. Btw you do have huge feet and boots haha. For flow riding/street and easy seated transitions, PKs are usually meant to sit lower closer to the toes than the shins but it looks like you maxed out the spacing of the one piece. Doesn't look like it hampered your enjoyment one bit though! Once again thank you so much for the love!

      Thanks for designing an awesome product! I had a similar experience, when I first tried them and got used to the feel it made me wonder why pads havent always been this way? It just seems so more natural to be able to actually lean on the wheel and not be restricted by a top pad that really just limits mobility and gets in the way of seated riding. I like to think these are the pads with the highest skill ceiling of any I tried. I forgot to touch on a few important topics, first the OverKill brake pads, OMG theyre huge and so confidence insipring to have my whole calf in contact with the wheel. And the fact that you regularly release brand new pad concepts that nobody has seen before. even since I bought these theres been like 3 new pad design releases on the website. People are going to love your work!

      I'm absolutely not a fast rider, but a rider of experience nonetheless, and I wouldn't ride with anything else than powerknobz pads.
      I would almost use them while sleeping 😂

      Hey, just wondering when will you get the Full Voidcore Prime V2 Powerknobz kit in back in stock. I like red btw lol. Or is there a V3 coming out? TIA

    • @Powerknobz
      @Powerknobz 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@ConsilienceDVO We've updated the listing description with a date but don't expect it until May. We are also in the process of revamping the Powercores to make them easier to craft that's why we paused sales on them for the first time since we launched. They are made in house from scratch so it's very difficult and time consuming as it is so we needed to look into streamlining certain parts of it so we can craft them faster. Also, no other Voidcore model is in the pipeline so far everyone is very happy with the V2. Here's an exclusive scoop for you guys on here I'm tempted to make a fusion one piece with Voidcore in the front and Cohedron in the back =P We'll see how it pans out in testing.

    I love the beefy, oversized full look of these rather than the typcial streamlined, thin build of typical pads. One thing that is extremely important is confidence and these definitely inspire that for me without having even tried them.

    Nice review on the powerknobz and I totally agree (I use a similar system made in Europe,since it’s closer to me).Freedom of movement and control of the wheel feels much nicer compared to typical powerpads. One thing I noticed on jumps,is that without upper pad my knee goes forward while midair,so the motor spins forward 🥶.But I want to figure it out without adding an upper pad. I also agree with what you said for off-roading without upper pads,it’s a challenge.
    Keep on powerknobing 🤙

    • @PEVPOV

      Yes I experienced the same thing, I have to put more effort into keeping the wheel flat because I got some beeps from spinning while jumping the other day

    • @PEVPOV
      @PEVPOV  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      These pads are almost twice as long as that grizzla foot lock piece, and they wrap over my entire foot. And also the patton comes with a toe lock system that's very similar but neither compare to the Powerknobz

    • @deadbluesky
      @deadbluesky 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have the Lynx with the Grizzla kit with the larger toe lock, i will try it without the pads... Although i kinda use the top pads to relax my legs on it when i do long range ride

    • @JeskaRain
      @JeskaRain 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@deadbluesky the Leaperkim toe clamp is fundamentally flawed it doesn't mimmick the mechanics of PKs at all because of the huge bit of hard plastic sticking out near the shin. The lean angle is completely off because of that.

    • @deadbluesky

    I have Grizzla flow pads, what would the difference be if I were to remove just the shin part of the front pads? I would still have the toe pads for jumping, and I have the freedom of bending the knee forward like how the PK pads allow you to. Seems to me they're the same..

    hmm.. these pads are getting incrementally larger how far out do they extend?
    Id be concerned if there was a cutout, being this much locked in, could break the hip, myself I been riding for close to 5 years and only used those supplied by manufacturer, its not as comfortable but I step off the wheel during crashes super easy, also I dont ride wheels close to max speed.
    and yeah stitchline up/down being good for equal exposure of both lenses also helps protect lenses if scraping the camera on the ground as its sideways and not front or back.
