Thank you! Great idea to keep the pad on the kick-off side a little looser to facilitate getting the foot in the pads at launch. I've also heard that staggering the positioning side-to-side can be helpful and am trying that, but haven't formed an opinion on that yet. Chooch had a good suggestion for the positioning and mounting process which was placing a piece of paper between the pads and the velcro during positioning and pulling it out when it's right can avoid struggling with the velcro during repositioning, so kudos to Chooch for that one.
I love this girl she just breaks everything down so new people can understand. A lot of the videos I watch it almost feels like people forgot we are not all pro riders yet :) thank you for your videos you been such a big help in this new euc world
Hey Dawn, I was having trouble with braking wobbles on my Commander Mini. I came back to this video and realized that my braking pads were set too low. After raising them both up about an inch I regained control of my wheel and now I can stop quickly and smoothly. Thank you for making this video!
Tiež som ich posunul vzad a keďže mám najazdených len cca 400km patrím stále k začiatočníkom v tomto nádhernom športe. A preto som ich tiež umiestnil trošku vyššie nad topánku, aby som mohol manipulovať s topánkou. No a keď som vo videu spozoroval, že odrazová, alebo tá noha, ktorú kladiem prvú na zem pri zastavení by mala byť menej uzamknutá ma úplne dostalo. Veľmi pozoruhodná pripomienka, s ktorou som sa ešte nikde nestretol. A funguje to znamenite. Moc mi toto video dalo a znamenite pomohlo. Šťastné kilometre Jazdec.
It's funny, I watched this video at the start of my euc journey and it must have subconsciously stuck in my mind. I keep gravitating back to tbis setup with a more vertical front shin pad since it feels more secure for me to have something to rest my shin against without leaning so far forward. I see many with front pads angled far forward and it feels so sketchy to lean over the wheel like that with nothing to brace against till the end. It also puts more of the acceleration to your toes and feet for more foot fatigue. With them more vertical, I'm morr restricted but closer to neutral and have instant acceleration by leaning on shin pads. Just not full acceleration Iike a full lean but I don't ride that fast anyway.
Really a great Video ! Thanks ! But one question to all guys...when you ride...have you one foot more in front ? Or have you both foots at the same position ? How do you ride ? I repeat - Are both feet synchron when you ride,or is one foot a bit in front ?
Hey Champ! How about a how or what got you into the MTO3 and EUC Communities??? I'm a fan of American Moto GP Racer Kayla Yaakov (She has beaten the boyz many times already and she will be 17 yr old soon) I got my first Dirt Bike Honda SL70 then Yamaha 80cc and Honda 80cc Two-stroke MX Dirt Bike's then I got into Street Bike's now E-Bike 2022 Talaria Sting MX3 SuperMoto modded E-Bike. I was 12 yr old when I got my first Dirt Bike. Bob Hurricane Hannah was my inspiration. That's my back story.
Having the pad further up the leg actually decreases torque. Distance X force. Having the pad lower allows your body weight (force) to be applied further (distance) from the axis of rotation (anything above the pad).
I LOVE this video sooo much! This video resolved most of my problems about how to adjust my pads😂 However I still have one question is: Should my leg be positioned at the middle of my wheel but not my feet at the middle of the pedal, right? If I put my leg at the middle of my Patton, then my foot will be a little bit forward on the pedal, and I’m confused about this.
@@DawnSChampion Thank you so much❤️ I’m new in EUC, and I watch your videos to learn how to control my wheels better and safer. Hope one day I can ride a 180km trip or farther🤣
I know this is late but most people have their toes hanging out because foot positioning should be based between ball and heel. Not end to end. However I would love my foot to be farther back for more breaking power because I think it’s critical in emergencies but my V14 with the pads it came in doesn’t allow me that.
This is an awesome video! With your pads locking in the toes of your boot are you still able to close the pedals? I find it a tough balance to get them snug while still having room to close pedals.
@@DawnSChampion ok thx. I bought some 3d printed replicas of the grizzla flows. I just installed them where I want them and the Pedals don't close flush.

Superb ! I think this may be the first video discussing actual placement of power pads !

@@ionflow1073 you’re welcome!! Glad to help!!
I think this video needs part 2. A year later version of pads placement for fast riding positioning.
everything is very onpoint, thank you!
Another sweet informative video from the “Champion”.
That was a very articulate and helpful tutorial. Thank you.

You must try Kinetic Pads 2.0 if you like modularity and comfort 😊
Bonjour, merci pour ces superbes explications, qui, malgré ma petite expérience m’apporte beaucoup!

My feet usually are a little forward of the pedal. If it feels secure and comfortable, I think it’s normal

My pedals stay in place by friction
@@DawnSChampion do you still fold them up for storage?
@@soupnazi81 yes, always

Dawn, do you have a general preference for tire pressure?
I like 36 psi for just about everything
Excellent video
Thank you very much!
Does the bottom section of the power pad stop the pedal from closing?
Depending on the pad and placement, kinda.
My pedals still close, but not all the way flat. They stay up from friction
