Please bring back the old way of soap writing before we lose this brilliant soap forever. The tongue in cheek missed with serious calm topics made this soap last so long. We’re going to lose it with these new ‘scared to act normally’ approaches to life 🙁and we don’t need to see the awful ways life is today in our soap.. wind back and look again.. we need humour, serious then humour and to escape hard life for a while when we sit to relax.

Sean was great in Coronation Street, and he is right the woke and virtue seeking storylines these days are depressing and grim, most people including myself watch soaps to have fun and watch love develop and some drama , we do not watch it to solve or remind us of the whole worlds problems....we want to escape that for a while .....
