- In today's video, a rude Karen yells at older waitress for being too slow. Two women who hadn't seen each other in a while are meeting at a restaurant to catch up. One of the women keeps talking about how much she enjoys her high-paying job and criticises the other woman for working as a nurse. When the older waitress takes a bit longer than usual to bring out the drinks, the entitled karen decides to time the waitress and finally even yells at her for being too slow...

I worked as a waitress while I was in school. I don't think I ever had a customer like her. So rude. I'm so proud of her friend for telling her off.

We need a part 2. This snob needs a lot more karma. Maybe she finally gets called up before Human Resources due to constant mistreatment of her employees and is fired. Then cannot get another corporate job and is forced to work as a waitress. And gets treated rudely by customers in return and one day runs into the older waitress she once mistreated

In my day we had a derogatory word for women like her. Can't say it on here because TH-cam would have a stroke. Her parents failed miserably when raising her. No one bothered to teach her about respect and empathy.

Always respect the elders. Kristina was quite rude and mean to the waiter, while Jessica showed sympathy for that elderly woman. Kristina was quite smart and a punk to that waiter who was serving the two young women. Kristina got what she deserved at the end.

10 minutes isn’t slow at all. I don’t even mind waiting a half an hour.
Not to mention, high quality food at a great restaurant is definitely worth the wait. After all, we are paying them BIG money for that service.

Nice doesn't make money? What planet is this snob from? Just like the saying goes: Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Christina is an arrogant braggart who looks down her nose at others. Having compassion and respect for others is priceless and many people do become wealthy and successful by having that kind of attitude. Christina doesn't deserve to have such a good job or a friend like Jessica because she took them both for granted. I'm glad she got punished in the end.

I can't stand rude people.I use to work in a shop and that is something I use to deal with but I just don't like rudeness.I like nice people.
I would have done exactly the same and walked out. I know from personal experience how hard being a server can be. Whenever I go to a restaurant using my calculator on my phone I pay up front but I add another £10 as a tip and tell the server to keep the extra £10 for service. I always ask if they want me to leave a review but I NEVER print the review on google or tripadvisor without the business owner seeing it first. Sometimes it works too well. I was in London recently and I did a review for one take away. The guy phoned me up a few weeks later. Business had tripled due to my review!

Omg, I was really hoping that her boss was the waitress son and he came in hearing her disrespecting his mother and fire her onsite.
This is fast compared to me and my wife waited for an hr and a half before only to tell us my wife's order wasn't be able to get her food they ran out and they were this Karen's age

My first job was to work as a waiter, kindness and to be patient make always a good name for each reastaurant but complaining because the service is too slow is wasted time,the waitress has been kind to the rude customer,her friend was right to leave her and to appreciate the good job,so many customers are bad mannered,I am glad that my parents have been teaching me,the good manners!

Cute slim girl deserve with good karma and beautiful soul who care about her mom who work as waitress. In asia most elderly do have a jobs because they need to earn money to live long life. Older shaming is gone too far. Some people are bad and we have to deal to them.

I would have done the exact same thing as Jessica. Way to go! I don't care that Kristina has a high power job or she's an exec. rudeness and disrespect isn't acceptable under any circumstances! True - Jessica saying that the high powered job had gone to her head.
I hope that Kristina got a lifetime ban from that restaurant and I hope that Jessica had really ended their lifetime friendship forever since after she had told Kristina by saying “have a nice life”.
10 minutes is actually super quick, most places take around 20 minutes for the food due to how busy they are
That Karen later spent the entire day drinking heavily. She later gets arrested for DUI. After her boss found out about it, she was fired on the spot. She is now penniless and spending ten years in jail.
Do a part 2 where she is fired from her job and then has to be a waitress.
If a waiter talks to me nicely that itself is good enough....I enjoy getting to know waiters....they are people who are able to find energy and patience in chaos
She is so ignorant n disrespectful n very rude. She thinks because of her job position she can look down on others, but that is wrong n she should not do that. The waitress is sweet n doing a great job, she needs to be kind to the waitress n understand that 10 min is not long to wait, n if it was that place is slow staffed right now. The waitress is doing her very best.
Rude Karen boasts about her businesses, fame, and power. She thinks she can be better than people. Her rudeness will be incredibly costly in the future. I hope she feels what that elderly woman is feeling. Let us see where that all will get her.
She should of said:
_[to waitress ]_ “here is a hundred for your excellent service.”
_[to ex-friend]_ “and you… since you’re a high powered worker. And you are not going to leave a tip. You can pay the bill. But Felicia!”

Then why would you even come to the restaurant in the first place? You should have just told your friend, “Sorry. I can’t be gone long so it will have to be a time when I am not at work.” She may have a successful job (for the time being), but she doesn’t think things through very well at all.
When I was growing up I was taught to respect your elders. If somebody spoke to my mother-in-law that way if she was working in the restaurant on her feet all day I would give her all the respect and love and I certainly would give her a big tip. Some people just don't understand how hard people work being the waitress. I can't stand snobby people like that. Always want to get their way. Always expect to get their way. And so rude like that

In response to Kristina’s condescending remarks to Jessica about “being a low-paid nurse”: Speaking as a physician who works with nurses on a daily basis, they do far more for humanity than some high-powered corporate executive. Nurses work tirelessly for long shifts to save lives. What do businesspeople do in comparison?

There is more room in the world for being slow yourself, no matter how big a deal it is, than shaming others for being the slow ones, no matter how little a deal it is.
And as Jenn implied earlier, there is no kind of job or amount of money you can make in any period that decides who does or doesn't deserve your respect, nor does it decide who is better than whom. Being a highly-paid worker doesn't make it harmless to put anyone whose wage is lower down.

Rude Karen has absolutely positively no right at all for yelling at the elderly waitress for being too slow. She tends to forget that elderly people can't move too fast due to age or disability.
