    With the initial fire up. Did you make sure the lines had fuel in them ? Or just start it up and the pump pushed the fuel up till it started? Thanks

    • @DamianCandetti
      @DamianCandetti  13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I have always just turned it on and let the pump push it, I would think its no different to running out of fuel one night.

    Thanks for the insight into installing the diesel heater into the srt. We are early awaiting ours. Just wondering where you picked up power from
    Cheers D

      Hi David, I have run extra batteries under the seat, otherwise I would run a new lead to the battery outside for simplicity

    Great Vid Damian. I did an install a couple of weeks ago. I have one issue I need to attend to - I have a very slow Diesel seep from the connection in the fuel tank - a bugger really as I was conscious about getting a good seal. So, I have to drain the tank and revisit the connection. Have you any ideas on getting a better seal the second time around?
    Obviously, I will need new Orings, but I was thinking of ways to add a better seal. Have you got any ideas? Cheers Rob

    • @DamianCandetti
      @DamianCandetti  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      ah, bugger. these small details can be a pain in the arse. If the hole is the right size I would try just tightening the nut by holding the nipple with some pliers, if that does not work then yes a fatter O ring should do the job. good luck!

    We have installed the same heater to our new snowy by your installation. Our is blowing a lot of smoke. Did yours do that if so how many times. We are on our third go. 😢thank you your help

    • @DamianCandetti
      @DamianCandetti  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It should not blow smoke, there are settings you can change in the unit to make the burn hotter or colder, Ill try and find a video that will help you

    hi , great vid , just wondering have u ever heard of the controller settings access fail , ? i cannot get into the settings to adjust fuel/hrz rpm etc , maybe this is a cheap generic controller (comes with heater) that hasn't got that feature > thanks ( mine has a cog symbol not wrench) cheers

    • @michaelh3994
      @michaelh3994 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I think you may have problems with long term running, sooting etc. The exhaust should only be max of 2m. This is standard with Eberspacher, Webasto and Chinese Diesel Heaters. How does it run, you did not show that.

    • @DamianCandetti
      @DamianCandetti  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It runs great, better than any other I have had. The sooting is a potential problem but with the fact the caravan gets towed at 100kph I would think it would get blown out every now and then. ill update you in another 6 months or so

      @DamianCandetti  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I didnt realise I forgot to film that part.... woops. I ended up mounting it on the front tool box, Ill ad a picture if I can

    You left out the wire for the pump, which you need to feed down before you fix to floor.

    • @DamianCandetti
      @DamianCandetti  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I realise I missed that part of the recording thanks. I would recommend drilling a separate hole for the wires though, dont try and put them through the exhaust outlet.

      You know what mum says, if you dont have anything nice to say.
      Also I clearly stated in the video I never use the underside of the L shape lounge.
