Got stepped on by Tim sitting on the side of the stage at Warp'd Tour 99 after Deftones finished their set. Midway through Rancid the sound guy finally looks up to about 8 of us sitting their, rages, and kicks us all out. Cool while it lasted. We meandered backstage through the fence barrier like we belonged. It worked. and got us there. NOFX defended Kid Rock from the naysayers on the tour. Yeah, THAT Kid Rock. Pre-Bawbdabamdabam BS. I honestly thought they were joking, like CB4 in real life.
It's not fake man, he just spends most the time not playing 😂 joins in with Lars as and when he feels it seems. Also it's quite obvious even from the second song Radio that Tim is playing
He does a lot of strums that he lets ring for awhile. Doesn’t mean he isn’t actually playing. Not sure of rancid uses backing tracks at all but I wouldn’t say Tim ain’t playing.
