I got to say man this popped up in a recommendation for me at work. I immediately got my phone signed into my account so I could leave a comment. I am blown away with what was done and I applaud you for doing some thing outside of the norm one of the coolest builds I’ve seen in a very long time. Fantastic job.
You're literally in my head bro! My plan for my nova is to build it with JDM style. This is great! Love the content. Mind me asking what fender flares you're using?
@@Benji... you're a sweet talker ain't ya lol...thanks for the info, this is exactly what I've been thinking about doing to my 74 nova. Gotta fix the smashed in quarter panel. Thanks again
The only major difference, I would have wanted the flares to be shaped in metal, rather than just the screw on type flares, to make it a true wide-body. You're also the first person I've seen reverse the center section of the wheels. Pretty nifty trick to get around offset/backspacing issues. 😉 What sizes did you end up running? I always liked the 275/40-17 front with a 315/35-17 rear (C4 ZR-1 sizing).
You know, with how creative you guys were with the wheels, the exh, the rear diffuser, and front spoiler, you could of easily made flares out sheet metal, not those POS plastic ones. Car sounds good by the way.
What tires are you running front and back? Seems like the same type and size, how does it drive around corners? I wanted to get a similar setup but im a bit hesitant
@@Benji... nice im going tis get some . I want on the back , I've been trying to add a set to a dart for long time as well but nothing seems to work . also it killed me to watch you cut that car up lol
Love your guys hard work, very talented! Exhaust is mint. I’m all about Jdm I’m into rotor cars, own an rx7 fd and an rx8. Growing up around hot rods my whole life because of my father. This example of a race car I happened to come across a few weeks ago in my opinion is the best looking dodge utilizing the original body lines. He made cut out in the front fenders if you look close enough. Big tires and slammed for the track. You guys should do something to resemble this. m.th-cam.com/video/TMGLhhrGYTw/w-d-xo.html
I know but even so 73-74 are becoming rare. I hope he sells that car to someone who restores it correctly. Good work quality but the right look for this car
Pretty bold statement to say that he "ruined" the car. Just because he didn't build a boring factory stock car doesn't mean it's ruined. As long as the car is running and driving, who the hell cares what it looks like. At least it's not rotting in some field somewhere, where the car would LITERALLY be ruined.
@The72challenger No-one would modify a real R-code 70 Hemi Challenger, the average person couldn't afford a car like that, but we're not talking about a 70 Hemi Challenger were talking about this 73. Now, how exactly did he "ruin" this car? Because he did custom exhaust? Because he did fender flares?
So because you like breathing aluminum dust they are supposed to do so too and that make them less of a man?, need to check that fake masculinity, is 2023 now, everyone will accept you, just come out of that closet.

Nice job but I so much prefer this car during the first seconds of the video than after !
Do you have any videos on the the grill install?
Sorry I don't, it's fairly straight forward just some fabricated brackets to mount the lights and grill
I want that Challenger! My 1980 Corolla wagon restored plus cash.
Great job on the car man, looks great. Just ignore the idiots. I'm building a similar style 71 Challenger.
Freaking amazing! Looks great.
Bruhh why hasn’t this blow up yettt it’s literally fireee
That is an awsome build...
Like it a lot, and cool to see part of the process🤘

haha awesome! you must have great taste
flares are 50mm and 70mm off amazon

I remember changing my starter In 1994. Those hooker headers had that locked up. Water jackets
Very nice job
Good Work but for me I like the car the way it was at the intro.
How much did the car cost?
If the challenger were to breed with a camaro you’d get this…
Uhhhh but a 1968/69 Camaro almost already looks exactly like a challenger
No it doesn’t
Where do you put the wheel weights on those?
The tire shop had to somehow fit them all in the back of the wheel. They made it work though!
How did you get that new gen grille and lights to fit ?
We just made a few brackets to support them and the gril, nothing too crazy and they fit in pretty easy
Is that a 2010 grill and lights set up ?
I can't remember the year exactly but something like that yes
nice car but, who the hell has those 3 letters on a post with a 70s challenger??
what fender flares did you use ? ive looked for ones for mopars and not found any. are these universal ones ?
These ones are just universal 70mm and 50mm, they seemed to work great
@@Benji... nice im going tis get some . I want on the back , I've been trying to add a set to a dart for long time as well but nothing seems to work . also it killed me to watch you cut that car up lol
@@greysgarage7020 haha I was questioning myself the whole time while cutting up such a nice car, worth it thought it looks unreal
is this possible with any 2-3 pc wheels???
I think it would be for most, it's more common to order new barrels than it is to just flip them but if it's the right offset then you can do it
Are you using a 1970 front end?
Looks like an 08-14 grill and headlights
That's unique and I absolutely love it. ❤
Boomers are mad I see.
👍👍

Lol wearing masks and building a challenger camaro. You guys had your balls and lost them with this video

Ruined a piece of American history. If you wanted a modern muscle car go buy one.
