This game is no where near as bad as people would have you believe. It's actually pretty enjoyable for what it is. Not as great as it's predecessors, but atleast to me anyway, still enjoyable.
True, honestly. The game is kind of fun for the first few sections, but then it drags itself into mediocrity with a lot of repetition and padding. As I said at the end, the game is alright, but 'alright' really isn't enough for the climax of a franchise.
Ironically the only time I felt actual fear in this game was completely unintentional, like there was a ragdoll from a necromorph I killed earlier and it started freaking out, so I saw it's arm passing behind my back and it put me in alert mode, until I turned around and saw it was just a ragdoll bugging out because of weird physics
Personally think people overreacted about the game. it's still fun to play for me, while it's not scary, the gameplay was enjoyable, and the co-op is still enjoyable. I do think the rumors of carver originally being a figment of isaac's imagination for co-op, would've been a much better idea (and there's details in-game that could still hint at it being vague enough to possibly still be true). Story was kinda dumb though. Except the dlc. the dlc added a nice plot that made me hyped to see where they'd take it.

It's really not a good sign when the scariest thing in a horror game is a glitch!
I have heard nothing but bad things about this game... curious about how this will go

Looking back over this game after making the video, and I STILL can't figure out how they screwed up the plot that much!
Good work!
So much potential with the mysterious creators of the markers and then we get "Giant space moonz go brrrrrrrrrrrr".
The story for 3 was absolute ass.
i still have hope playing this on xbox pass
