The arrow technique is pretty awesome, we've dubbed this type a "swoopy arrow" at my work and I'll plan to pull up illustrator next time it's needed instead of doing it manually.
Any arrows you create can also be added to the "Graphic Styles" panel and applied to any path with a single click! 🙌
Amazing techniques, thank you

First shape into the video and I already learned something. I used to make that sparkle by filling the negative space between four circles 🤣
Awesome! 🤩

Nice! Great to hear! 😊
Nice! ❤
Thanks! 😄
wow🙌
thanks !
You're welcome!
Excellent
Thanks!
Just in case anyone would rely on this: That is absolutely not an archimedian spiral, the curvature does not change smoothly. Might be okay if you just need something spiral-y looking, but unfortunately there are no shortcuts if you actually need an Archimedian. (The other trick I sometimes see uses the twist tool, same as the lollipop swirl. That one would work in theory, but breaks down due to compounding errors due to lack of precision when calculating the new path).
(The pucker/bloat star in the beginning is nice though)
Hey.. the chair didn't spin at the end
Aha the chair is under the desk, as I'm standing up in this video! 🙌
@@ForeverDansky poor chair..

Thank you Dansky, excellent educational video as always. 🧡
Thanks Sema! 😊
Hello
Dansky when will you stream ?
❤
Interesting - adding that arrow head to stroked line crashes my illustrator!?
Woah what?! 😭 Is that Illustrator 2024? Also are you on Mac or PC?
👍
i have a 60% keyboard i ant use arrow keys idk how
Why are my lines in the twist tool not smooth? There are no settings that I can find to adjust this. And the smooth tool doesn't work. I'm using AI 2024.
same happens to my lines they are not at all smooth and my Iatest updated version of Illustrator keeps crashin sometimes when I use this tool.
Why not just use scissors on the top and bottom anchor points of the ellipse to cut it in two? Only two clicks instead of... how many have you done?
There's generally a lot of ways to do the same thing in Illustrator. Makes little difference in terms of speed when using keyboard shortcuts, and sometimes just depends which technique someone prefers to use.
thanks but there is a much easier way to create a heart
There’s a lot of different ways, depending on the type of heart shape 👍
@@ForeverDansky would you believe its with a rectangle? I am working on launching an illustrator channel and this is one of the tutorials in the pipeline.
@@JoeBodego Awesome, that's great to hear Joe! 😍
greatly amaziingly
