Well...I think how dark and sad your melody might be, there is always a light at the end of the endless Caverns of Ancient Bone.

I think the hollow knight main theme isn't related only to the knight, but with every character with the "hollow" theme. The vessels are the obvious example, but you can find leitmotifs of the main theme in the false knight/ watcher knight's theme, they might not be vessels, but they are technically "hollow" knights.

A nostalgic moment where your memories come and you realize that what you have been searching for or waiting for is right there; in your hands. You just have to climb that hole where you're in. This is quite relaxing for me. No sad. No depressing. No hopeless. But a realization moment
