  • Angelman Syndrome (AS) is a rare condition with different genotypes and varying degrees of severity affecting approximately 1:15000 births.
    Around 490,000 individuals worldwide.
    There is a long list of clinical characteristics for the syndrome, but for parents or caregivers who suspect that their child might be affected it can be difficult to visualise what they might mean for their loved one.
    This video is the second in a series about AS that illustrates the syndrome beautifully making it a fantastic resource to assist in timely diagnosis and also to assist in explaining to those who have never heard of the syndrome before.
