Can I just say that Izayoi's looking pretty good in that thumbnail. I always liked this design over the standard Tsubaki, personally. The waifu factor was big part of why I tried to learn her in CF.
i feel ya man. your execution is leagues above me. i switched from pad to stick and it has been a month of relentless suffering. i struggle on the most basic stuff sometimes like quarter circles and air dashes. doesn't help that i play chipp in plus r and have to hit frame tight airdashes and microdashes in the bnbs and i can't do any of it.
I did the same due to thumb pain. I've been playing with an Arcade Stick for 5 months now, and I've seen an improvement. My recommendation to you will be to focus on small motions at first so you can get the hang of it like QC motions and dashes. Once they become second nature, you can add more motions to your gameplay, and you will start to notice the improvement. Best regards.

Try modding your sticks actuator to a larger one. They can be purchased from arcade shock and focus attack. It will shorten the throw of the stick. It makes it easier to do air dash and 623 moves.
I tried her and my main problem with the character was not having an anti air button and the damage felt really low if I wasn't getting j.c starters and went for j.a fuzzy in her gain arts mode.
you have 623B which is basically Jins 623B but better and with a follow up potential lol. Damage ain't a problem either you can get confirms from basically anywhere on the screen and in gain art mode you get easy damage combos
@@ladong644 1. You can't follow 623b up at all in normal mode 2. Any random hit you get and spend stocks on to convert means you have less for your potential mixup damage 3. Her damage when she's not in gain arts is pretty average to mediocre 4. The damage off her mixup is just undeniably low if you're landing j.a or 2a, especially compared to other mixup characters like litchi, Rachel, izanami etc. Idk if you've never played the character or what but she's great but she ain't perfect.

I wanted to get into this game, but what's stopping me is having to learn all the techs and resources all characters have in order to deal with them. Its not important if you just play in the beginner ranks, but as you encounter better players, there always comes a point where you gotta have some knowledge of every character or you'll get washed by them.
Join the discord you can find all levels of experience in new players some are better than others but not at a level that you won't be able to play unless you play a arakune main like me then you might not play the game because that character just has busted pressure if you can hit your bnb
The game has tutorials for each characters on how to activate different combo and ultimate move. The game it's hard but because of tutorials it's easy once you learn it, unlike Street fighter and Tekken only training mode.

Nine, for example, can zone you but also has an unblockable and can teleport. Not even gonna begin trying to compare a BlazBlue mixup with a SF mixup😂
With Melty do you set the input delay to 0 online? I agree it's not great (and seemingly random at times), but BBCF and other rollback games don't usually let you pick input delay and just set it to 2f or higher. You could try the same in Melty and see if it makes things any better for you.

Games like Skullgirls, MBTL, and +R let you choose input delay so you can go as low as 0f, but it means you'll start getting more rollback frames on lower pings. Maths is for nerds but basically more input delay means less rollback frames as the ping goes up.

I dont understand Naoto's gameplay mechanic. Enhance your specials/supers after dash cancelling. At the cost of give your arm an aneurysm.

her movement plus her b buttons are pretty sick for anti air

Yeah, anti-air is a little tricky but she has options. Just need to predict and move first.

Yes, lag is always noticeable if you play a lot. Adjusting is not hard, it’s just not fun to play on lag.
