Mori created a game I'll play til I'm 70 and the Alzheimer starts deteriorating my brain, thank you.
I'm still a relatively new BB player. Started just at the end of last year when the Rollback announcement happened. And it's been so cool. Characters animate so well that pulling off anything with them feels good. Even the most basic of things like Ragna's magic series into specials feels good to land especially when you get overdrive and can follow up. Another underrated aspect to the game are the different settings for the stages. It opened my eyes at how bland stages in current fighting games are.
I've mostly tried Kagura among the cast and he's by far the sickest charge character I've ever played.

The fact there's a bunch of content creators who cover or play BlazBlue (either lore or gameplay) will be a reason why I will keep playing BlazBlue

BBCF is currently my fav fg. Good depth, cool characters, and of course rollback. I have plans to go to EVO JP and I’m hoping they have it, even if it’s a side tourney. Keep BB Alive!

I picked this game up (again, but kind of for the first time) a month or so again and it's so fun. Such a cool cast, the overdrive/burst system is one of the most interesting system mechanics I've played with before, and really great sprite art too (even if it's like 14y old now lol).
I'm so glad that I got some friends into it too. It's been really fun.
I really like these videos of you commentating on top of matches. Provides a few insights and is fun to listen to/watch.

I was able to make it to CEOtaku and I got to play Monarch in bracket as my round 2. It was really awesome to see him win the whole thing. He’s a super cool dude. It’s been awesome getting deeper and deeper into the bb community. Everyone I’ve met has been super cool
I must say that I got into BlazBlue thanks to you. This series deserves all of the love it can get.

I’ve been going back through a lot of your Blaz stuff after having mostly watched your channel for other games cause I like your insight and I am way more optimistic about Blaze after having been initially resistant because it was an “Anime Fighter”

This is pretty crazy Monarch vs. Jona was intense I never seen a match like that in my life I'm still sad mori left and BBCTB feels unfinished but atleast BBCF is finished glad that game is still goin around it's something else when Blazblue being relevant again damn I miss this game alot
I think Lambda players were saying that she's more of a rushdown-zoner hybrid (though she's not great at either of these things) than just a zoner so she's pretty cool in that regard.
100% agreed. You have everybody out here going ham on a game that came out almost a decade ago, when there's a technical sequel out now, because it has rollback and good damn gameplay. This genre is the only one I've ever played where, as long as you have those factors, the game is eternal.
Have fun with BlazBlue and know it'll never die as long as everybody's going in on it... Plus, BBCF Top 8s are always the loudest.

I forget that the FGC has this unfortunate tendency to view any game or series that's not being actively updated as being dead. As long as there are people still playing them, with tournaments or not, that's what should matter.
I mean, geez, as someone who comes from preferring the smaller, more niche fighters..."BB" ain't dead. Far from it, as Jiyuna clearly showed. It's still popular, people are still playing it, and people are still excited for it. Compare it some other series like "AH", "SvG", "MAAB", "CC", or even "BARfS". Now those are fighters that are very much dead or were barely even alive to begin with...sadly.

Been a fan of CT for combo extensions for a while. Easy extensions into better damage and corner carry for only 25 meter. Es also just makes really good use.

Blazblue is pretty much dead in terms of developer support but, if this community is serious about BBCF they will do the same the MBAACC did: future-proof the game and give it even better net-code than before.

I started playing on PS5 a few weeks ago and I can't find a match online. I haven't been able to get a single Ranked Match so I'm starting to give up on the platinum for that game.
Only PC has Rollback.
I’ve admit I’ve underestimated how good a game Blazblue is. I think mechanically it’s pretty genius, if you want my opinion of where the game suffers: it’s a bit busy with some of the hit sparks, the backgrounds are a bit bland or confusing and half of the characters are imo too visually derivative. I think if they leaned into the most unique visually with marketing and tried to get an episodic series on Saturdays in America it would help. Total noob Capcom fanboy of 30 years’ perspective.
TLDR: Brilliant gameplay, suffers visually on the bells and whistles, too many samey characters and the great ones haven’t reached iconic status yet because marketing hasn’t succeeded, YET(by no fault of your own Jee my guy). But I’m optimistic
