Ah yes, the area under the village is another one of those weird spots in this game that feels "out of bounds" to me for some reason. Of course, you're supposed to go down there to get to the shine. But to me, it always seems like I'm messing around somewhere I shouldn't be.
I agree as a child I always thought this area was hard and felt off. Not like Noki bay. Noki Bay was a great level but this village was ways my least favorite and felt completely different than the rest of the levels.

Yeah, It doesnt belong. I mean this entire world feels like it doesnt belong.
