The amount of skill and craft you bring to the process is so impressive 👍 I'm glad you've found a practical use for the cuticle pusher tool ! 🤣 No music makes this a relaxing joy to watch ! With a different custom spring you could fit a long phillips driver underneath the small Spyderco blade 😁 I'm surprised you don't get your liners laser cut to save time tho..
Thrilled to hear that! I have actually started compiling information and pictures. I plan to make a full SAK Modding Tutorial book with illustrations and everything that it entails.
Awesome. Glad to hear that. My first run will probably only be 5 springs. So, keep an eye out for them. I'll probably post an update to my IG account when they are live on my website.
Hey man, though I don't like SAK knives, serrated blades or slip joints, I have to admit, this was one sweet project. Thanx for the video my Bladed Brother 👍 ⚔️ ✝️ 🇺🇲
Cool build! 😎 idea 💡 for another build, integrate a leatherman style PS into a 58mm. Remove the arm with the carabiner and replace it with the 58mm SAK, remove all extra parts as the main thing is the pliers. This way, it can fold in and out. Obviously, the pliers arm will lie on top of the SAK, but you'll have pliers!
a creative use of the -cokespoon- fignernailskin-mover ;) not sure i like that empty space next to the roadie though; guess the vic-magnifying-glass can not be modified to fit in there, can it? also - did you ever modify a 111mm-vic? (vids - why not put on both? the 1minute-sped up-version as short, the long video for clicks and channelgrowth?)
😅👍🏻👍🏻 Yes, that is one of it's uses. 😉 I've looked into placing a secondary tool opposite the Roadie, but I haven't found anything that would fit. I started my 111mm Spydernox, but I broke the Spyderco blade in the process. So, I reordered the Spyderco and now I'll have to delay it about a month... 😕
As always, awsome job from a pro! Can you help me with one question? I am about to do my first g10 liner mod. No spyderco blades or things like that, just g10 liners... You know that the "outer" liner, that touches the scales, has a "bump" on the large blade pivot point? That "bump" is there for a reason, right? G10 liners obviously do not have that "bump". Is that a problem? Do i need some kind of washer as thinck as that "bump"?
😊Do you know which 91mm SAK models have the spring that can be modified to accept the dragon fly blade please. It’s the same spring you have reproduced. You are currently sold out and I am in the UK Thanks
Orange isn't a typical color that you see in the forest, so orange gear is easy to spot and less likely to get left behind. Hunters wear orange so they don't get shot by other hunters.
I would sh$t if you did a video of my build. I love the way you do videos and you are always changing and adjusting to make them better. Your last video was cool from a video aspect in that your topic holds the viewers attention. As you know I’ve been hospitalized but your videos kept me going. Thank you for that.
hey! i have a question, where do you get all the scales from (all types micarta, titanium, copper, plastic...) cause the one that i find are not always very good and are more expensive than the SAK itself edit: and where do you get coloured liners?
Man is it possible to take apart a sak and assembly it back on with screws instead of brass rods, then glue-ing original victorinox plastic scales? I mean do they fit well? Or are the screws strictly designed for other type of scales?
That was one of the first things I tried with my XTOOL D1 Pro. Unfortunately, it burns the G10. I would need a CNC machine to cut out G10 liners automated. I purchased a broken CNC with the plans to rebuild it... But yeah, no luck on that yet.

I like watching your builds the best. You should write a DIY book. It'd be hard to get the exact modifications that you do.
Great job

That would be awesome @@FittoSurvive
Always nice to see double spydernox blades.
Top work
Thank you! I definitely like the double Spyderco blades. Maybe I should do a triple Spydernox some time... What do you think?
Love it. You definately wont loose that knife in a hurry which I appreciate these days and as always, it was great to watch the build process again.
Thanks! Yeah, it is really bright. 👍🏻
Looking forward to the custom springs!

Awesome mods! whole process is great! Thanks
Thanks!
Great work, always enjoy when i see you have uploaded sir. Keep up the good work
Thanks a bunch! Really appreciate it.
I love it Cody! You gotta make one with titanium, copper liners and havalon blade with the double spyderco 😂
Thanks! Yep, definitely need to do that.
I can’t wait for my copper scale dragonox build next month❤🎉
👍👍
i enjoyed this in both formats but this was helpful
Wow, thanks

Yeah buddy, just found ya ,wicked buddy how original, keep going...
Hey! Thanks, I really appreciate it.
Nice blade. I like the colors.
Thanks 👍
Killer build. Would buy a spring if you made more.
Thank you! I'll be dropping the first drop in a couple of days. I'll post an update to my IG account when I do.
Excelente ! Ficou uma bela peça, parabéns !!! ( Brazil )
Как Всегда! НОЖИК топ! Благодарю за видео!!!
Спасибо. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
These are amazing 👏
Thank you!
Hope you make an announcement in the fb group when you drop that spring, I don’t wanna miss that 🎉

because you mentioned it and I'm curious. is orange considered a "hunting" colour because of high visibility? anyone can respond as if im 5 yrs old.

Do you use protective gear when sanding/grinding G10? As i read on e.g. r/knives one should strongly avoid inhaling the dust.
I actually use 3M face mask
Parabéns ficou show

Спасибо. Было бы здорово 🙂
You know that vices have a flat dolly area on the back of then just like an anvil instead of the jaws
Yeah, on my vice, I found a "sweet spot" where there is a small bump that works great for peening in the pivot bore of the Spyderco blades.
Why aren't you using a laser for g10 spacers?
Wouldn’t it melt? The edges would look terrible. Keep in mind I have no idea what I’m talking about

I use 1mm G10.

@@travisyork3915 OK, thanks.
sir what is G10 !
its fiber made ?
G10 is a high-pressure fiberglass laminate, a type of composite material.
