My guy pulled out the slap file! I use it all the time! Rare to see a tech use it.
no it's common
@@Mattlawton-ft6ewmaybe for the ogs but not for the new generation. I use it all the time and other body man either tell me what is that or don’t use that
that is such an informative video . thanks!
@@pratik_kumbhare glad it was helpful 👍

@@djbruno48 you're welcome!
Top job Mate

Where did you get the little hook attachment that’s used in unison with the slide hammer during the glue tab portion?
Hey its a PDR hook adapter by cam auto pro
camautopro.com/en/products/camauto-pro/31/pdr-hook-adapter
Thank you boss!
I can never get the glue off! gave up on it.
I avoid body work like the plague and I still cant stop watching.
I’d rather learn to do my own body work instead of getting it done somewhere 😂
I love your content. ❤
You are amazing bro
I learned alot
@mrahmedrashadmathematics5360 I'm glad it was helpful!
Link to the tools you use the slide hammer and glue gun with taps ? Amazing video learn a lot
hey! camautopro.com has the glue tabs, bars and attachments. the slide hammer is a OEM tools 25922. amazon doesn't seem to have it anymore but they have other options
@@AUTOBODYTECH thank you
Dry guide coat, absolutely right
My friends cousin cuts out panels and welds in new panels he gets from motor wreckers or he just uses sheet metal hes a gifted welder, he works on prestige cars like Rolls and top of the range Mercs. Just a coffee cake and and hour mate! He cant be bothered ever using fillers and dent pullers and dollies and hammers.😊He does a lot of reupholstering and vernier work , im not particularly impressed by the fact that he uses choice language and is an Atheist , but he is bloody good at what he does. Greek Cypriot background.
cave and pave move on to the next one baby!!! send it
You are so bad
@@jerryhuff86 indeed
Buddy i would like to know how many time did u take fixing it?,it's just a question.
@@sanemiurbina-pz4ow maybe about 4 to 6 hours
Thanks ❤. Wheee can I get quick check that you applied after body filler to check
Look up "like90 quick check" my Amazon says it's $121 dollars, which isn't correct. It should be around $30
Alternatively, you can use a prep degreaser to do the same. It's a little runner but likely you already have it in the shop
@@AUTOBODYTECH Thanks found it in amazon for 30 dollar. very helpful
Nice work
I always use ducktape for sanding the lines (you dont sand through ducktape with p120/p220)
What kind of reflection spray do you use?
Thanks for the videos
@@jaap7174 nice! It doesn't leave any residue? I use quick check
@@AUTOBODYTECH
No never had any problems with it
How did u sand the curved part
What type of spray you added in the last step please?
@@تصليحالسياراتفيامريكا it's called quick check by like 90
Badass 👍
So you using 220 grid before applying primer?
Yes, on the body work. Surrounding surfaces should be sanded at 400, then high build primer.
What kind of tool is that the one you used for the body line?
@@Blackie315 dent fix body line tool
exopy supposed to apply on bare metal before body filler.
I learned that I suck at body work😂😂😂😂
Don't give up!
@@AUTOBODYTECH this could of been done without removing the paint. But having sead that you have done a good job
where i can buy that glue ?
It's from Amazon. Here's the link amzn.to/4cC38v7
I thought glue was only for pdr, if the dent puller is used why not just skip the glue tabs?
@GamerTheTurtle glue tabs have a much wider surface area which helps move a lot of the initial damage. Its not super necessary but very helpful
If i had all them tools I wouldn’t ve watching youtube videos
So how much does something like this cost
About 1000$
I learned that u are dam good at what u do...I think I will stick to engine building....lol..I tried...and the body shop I took it to to fix it said..I just made it worse..lol..but thanks for the video..
@@Keiththomas-cy7ht don't give up! Start on the small stuff first
Это крыло можно было отремонтировать с помощью PDR
Great work man! How long have you been a technician?
Thanks! About 13 years
я сначала подумал что он без покраски это крыло вытянет аккуратно крючками .а можно было же.😂
When you want to get more money from a customer. 😂
you could of just used a dolly from inside , you can see better and it would've been quicker
just a tip

Sometimes no body wants to pay for that hard work
Insurance has to pay. Let the cheap f's keep their jacked up cars.
It's like dent pulling a coke can 😅
cool but this not no DIY, this is shop equipment lol. I can’t really use this
Hey! If you're a DIY at home you can use a uni spotter dent puller. Plugs right into a standard 110V. Thanks
@@AUTOBODYTECHnah its good work, i wasn’t downplaying it.. I have a grinder, sander/buffer, some body work hand tools, and maybe some of the other stuff.. but you lost me at the Rod part, idk how to use that. Id rather just pay the body shop then. My father does bodywork for over 20+ years but i just dont think i can do it like that
@nativesumerian2146 thanks for the input! I will try to make another video using basic tools/starter tools that aren't used day to day in the shop
Don't bother doing it yourself
Таких мастеров нужно избегать.
