They were actually threatening destroying a lot of Lumiose City, were much more prevalent, Lysandre goals was much more defined and him manipulating Alan thinking he was saving Maron’s Chespin but was actually gathering Mega energy for controlling Zygarde and powering the Megalith (Japanese name for the Ultimate Weapon). The Final Fight with the Megalith was absolutely amazing both with bringing characters that main characters met through out the story and from a technical standpoint with the animation. Definitely did not disappoint

For some reason the difficulty in this game decreased exponentially. Like I remember struggling against Viola and Grant but by the time I got to Korrina I was sweeping through everything. I think just raising some of the levels would solve level problems and maybe giving some trainers like Lysandre and the Elite Four an extra pokemon Even still xy is still probably my fav Pokémon games

I really like Gen6, and I honestly think a third version would have ironed out a lot of its problems The music, atmosphere, pokemon roster, and even the more basic story all worked really well for X&Y, and I just hope we can see more about it in the future

@@krimorant ORAS also has the issue of it being probably even easier than XY or just as much. I mean I was rotating Pokemon at some points and the games were still easy. Then there was the fact that there were changes to teams in Emerald that they should've kept in ORAS because they were good changes. Some of the most memorable battles were just cakewalks and I remember the struggle of Flannery, Winowna, Watson, and Tate and Liza and they just took all that away. Then along with the BF issue, ORAS or XY style also ruined a lot of the areas in Hoenn which is just another reason why the transition to 3D in my mind pretty much ruined Pokemon to this day.

There was plenty of French vibes in X and Y. The Chateu, The Pseudo Versailles, Boutiques, and a stand in Eiffel tower. People saying there wasn't enough French culture are still trying to figure out wtf a Garçon is.
Honestly, I found most of X & Y's OST very forgettable. The only one that stood out to me are the battle themes, Xernea's/Yvetal's theme and the champion theme. The rest I found underwhelming.
Something interesting character-wise is that Lysandre has version-exclusive lines at the Xerneas/Yveltal sequence with the ultimate weapon changes a couple lines where its either "I'mma save everyone in the room with eternal life to change to world", or "yeah, I'm gonna die, but you kids are coming with me."

X and Y have one of the greatest soundtracks in the series, IMO. The route and town themes are so amazingly atmospheric, powerful and a little sad. Xerneas/Yveltal's and Team Flare's battle themes were sick. And I loved how all the different trainer classes had their own unique encounter theme (Ace Trainer and Furisode Girl were the best). The Tile Puzzle and Head It mini game themes are such a joy. Plus the sad version of the "Friends" song gets me every time.
I don't remember XY's soundtrack at all. The only tracks that sticks out to me are the battle themes, Xerneas/Yvetal's theme & Diantha's theme. The rest is forgettable. Just like the entire game was.
Gen 6 had fantastic music! Idk what that guy was talking about...for me the best thing out of Gen 6 was Mega Gardevoir, like Kirlia already had an alternate evolution with Gallade and now you’re telling me there’s another form? Peak Masuda. Worst thing from this Gen to me was indeed the Gym Leader teams. Back to Gen 1 Brock had 2-3 mons. First guy. Last guy, Giovanni had a team of 4-5 all in the 50’s. A 6 year old can handle 5 level 50 mons bruh don’t give the final Gym Leader only 3... It’s tradition for these games to have larger enemy teams towards the end and you just don’t break tradition. The farther you get in the game, the bigger the teams the trainers you face logically should have. Would make you feel like, damn I’m in victory road and all these trainers have 5 mons in the 60 to 70’s. I got here, this is end game. The excuse of “this game can’t be hard because it’s for kids” is dead, they CAN make it a hard game yet choose not to because GameFreak thinks it won’t sell based on the difficultly. Bruh you can make it the hardest game in the world and Timmy will still buy it because Pikachu is in the game and that’s his favorite mon, he won’t care if the Elite Four bodies him, he’s using his Pikachu 🤣 We all like/play it for different reasons
Despite the hour count, every area in X and Y felt small. The desert, the villain HQ even most of the towns. You'd walk up and down them once and pretty much see everything there is.

Tierno should have introduced ‘playfulness’ twist and twirl with your Pokémon to help boost their happiness, Trevor tells you that you need a certain Pokémon in this area to find certain items, Serena adopts the Let’s Go attitude and tells you that your Gogoat is trash, let’s race and find out which is best? “Oh lol, your Tyrantrum doesn’t know headbutt?! Let’s see if it can keep up with mine!!” Things like this would have made them so cool

8:47 can debunk, my first playthrough where I took my time took about 35 hours, and my second playthrough were I mostly sped through it while doing a few things on the side (and challenged myself by using a mono-type team) took about 17 hours. edit: also, route 15 music is only okay.

Had over 600 hours on this game. They made the competitive part really accessible and easy to learn. It was enjoyable.
Accessible but not too easy to access. Sword and Shield they literally let you change your pokemon however you want essentially. Sun and Moon started ruining it with bottlecaps.

They were actually threatening destroying a lot of Lumiose City, were much more prevalent, Lysandre goals was much more defined and him manipulating Alan thinking he was saving Maron’s Chespin but was actually gathering Mega energy for controlling Zygarde and powering the Megalith (Japanese name for the Ultimate Weapon). The Final Fight with the Megalith was absolutely amazing both with bringing characters that main characters met through out the story and from a technical standpoint with the animation. Definitely did not disappoint

For some reason the difficulty in this game decreased exponentially. Like I remember struggling against Viola and Grant but by the time I got to Korrina I was sweeping through everything. I think just raising some of the levels would solve level problems and maybe giving some trainers like Lysandre and the Elite Four an extra pokemon

Then there was the fact that there were changes to teams in Emerald that they should've kept in ORAS because they were good changes. Some of the most memorable battles were just cakewalks and I remember the struggle of Flannery, Winowna, Watson, and Tate and Liza and they just took all that away.
Then along with the BF issue, ORAS or XY style also ruined a lot of the areas in Hoenn which is just another reason why the transition to 3D in my mind pretty much ruined Pokemon to this day.

There was plenty of French vibes in X and Y. The Chateu, The Pseudo Versailles, Boutiques, and a stand in Eiffel tower. People saying there wasn't enough French culture are still trying to figure out wtf a Garçon is.

Honestly, I found most of X & Y's OST very forgettable. The only one that stood out to me are the battle themes, Xernea's/Yvetal's theme and the champion theme. The rest I found underwhelming.
Something interesting character-wise is that Lysandre has version-exclusive lines at the Xerneas/Yveltal sequence with the ultimate weapon changes a couple lines where its either "I'mma save everyone in the room with eternal life to change to world", or "yeah, I'm gonna die, but you kids are coming with me."

X and Y have one of the greatest soundtracks in the series, IMO. The route and town themes are so amazingly atmospheric, powerful and a little sad. Xerneas/Yveltal's and Team Flare's battle themes were sick. And I loved how all the different trainer classes had their own unique encounter theme (Ace Trainer and Furisode Girl were the best). The Tile Puzzle and Head It mini game themes are such a joy. Plus the sad version of the "Friends" song gets me every time.
I don't remember XY's soundtrack at all. The only tracks that sticks out to me are the battle themes, Xerneas/Yvetal's theme & Diantha's theme. The rest is forgettable. Just like the entire game was.
Gen 6 had fantastic music! Idk what that guy was talking about...for me the best thing out of Gen 6 was Mega Gardevoir, like Kirlia already had an alternate evolution with Gallade and now you’re telling me there’s another form? Peak Masuda. Worst thing from this Gen to me was indeed the Gym Leader teams. Back to Gen 1 Brock had 2-3 mons. First guy. Last guy, Giovanni had a team of 4-5 all in the 50’s. A 6 year old can handle 5 level 50 mons bruh don’t give the final Gym Leader only 3... It’s tradition for these games to have larger enemy teams towards the end and you just don’t break tradition. The farther you get in the game, the bigger the teams the trainers you face logically should have. Would make you feel like, damn I’m in victory road and all these trainers have 5 mons in the 60 to 70’s. I got here, this is end game. The excuse of “this game can’t be hard because it’s for kids” is dead, they CAN make it a hard game yet choose not to because GameFreak thinks it won’t sell based on the difficultly. Bruh you can make it the hardest game in the world and Timmy will still buy it because Pikachu is in the game and that’s his favorite mon, he won’t care if the Elite Four bodies him, he’s using his Pikachu 🤣

Despite the hour count, every area in X and Y felt small. The desert, the villain HQ even most of the towns. You'd walk up and down them once and pretty much see everything there is.

and the legendaries of kalos is good with the x,y,z trio of giver of life, bringer of death and the order pokemon/guardian of the earth and ecosystem and the lore of kalos is perfection because kalos is just so good. Pokémon Z or even Pokémon X VERSION 2 and Pokémon Y VERSION 2 must happened in Generation 12 to be The Generation 6 Remakes or Sequels.

Tierno should have introduced ‘playfulness’ twist and twirl with your Pokémon to help boost their happiness, Trevor tells you that you need a certain Pokémon in this area to find certain items, Serena adopts the Let’s Go attitude and tells you that your Gogoat is trash, let’s race and find out which is best? “Oh lol, your Tyrantrum doesn’t know headbutt?! Let’s see if it can keep up with mine!!” Things like this would have made them so cool

8:47 can debunk, my first playthrough where I took my time took about 35 hours, and my second playthrough were I mostly sped through it while doing a few things on the side (and challenged myself by using a mono-type team) took about 17 hours.
