I watched this for a minute and thought it was my brother. So as I was watching he says:"got to be careful with that right here" and then drops the carburetor. That's when I said "yep this has got to be my brother." But after a few more minutes I realized it wasn't my brother. Now I am trying to confirm if I'm related to him some how. Anyway, the video helped me feel comfortable with forcing the carburetor loose. I have forced things in the past, well a lot of things, and broke them. Thanks for the help.
I like to shut off the gas and run it until it dies before i put it up for a while. Then there should be almost no fuel inside the carburetor. I also do that with a moped that i leave inside my home to hopefully lessen the smell of raw fuel. Thanks for sharing.
i swaped a 03 rancher 350 carborator onto an 87 350D afr seems ok if a little lean but it does the exact same thing *sometimes* off of idle, ill be sure to do this and return with an edit
2nd best 4-wheeler honda ever made, 1 was this old 250 recond, i did everything i could to break it ao i could het a new one. And i mean everything. And it would start right back up evert time. Now i would sell or for antrhung
Good video. My 2006 just went to shit all at once. Idles fine. Bogs on acceleration and dies if I open the airbox lid. So I'm assuming it might be lean. Hoping its bad gas or water (we hada hell of a t-storm here in N Wyo last nite) in the fuel. But if its the carb I'll at least have a running start on getting it off. Thanks for posting. Ves heil
All premium gas is, is gas with additives. I prefer using non-ethanol gas and then adding my own fuel additives to it, no telling what the gas people put in there
just put new carb on and the drain at bottom of bowl drains the gas on constant basis and the screw is all the way closed. anyone can tell what t5he problem may be. i think someone put the wrong screw in it because do not think screw is all the way in
Luke Guillory It could be a wrong size screw, or it could be the seal on the screw itself or the jets might not be adjusted right and is letting to much gas in the bowl.
Not 1 mention of how to remove the throttle cable?! You focused on the choke too much and gave zero info on how to get that damn throttle cable disconnected!
Yeah I apologize on that, it was the first how to video I ever did so I just forgot to mention that part, my apologies on that. I hope you were able to get yourS fixed up tho and working.
Sir. You did just fine for your first video. Don’t you let one or two loud mouths bother you! Thanks for making the video! Videos like yours have helped me tremendously and have helped me fix about a dozen different things!! You keep making videos ole buddy!! I’m just an ole country boy down in Bama and I greatly appreciate you guys! I’m a Stihl chainsaw guru and if you don’t know EXACTLY how to choke it to crank it.. Well.. You ain’t cranking it! Lol Being that I love Stihl I’m thinking about making a video on how to crank a Stihl chainsaw since so many people don’t know how to crank em and they get frustrated and wanna throw that saw in the ditch!!! If you have ever tried to crank a Stihl chainsaw then YOU ALREADY KNOW!! Again, keep on making videos my man!!

Thank you very much for posting this. You saved me a lot of frustration and money!
Hey my friend...excellent video. I love the Good Lord Blessing part.
Want to thank you for the good info just cleaned my carb on 2004 rancher 350 and your vid helped a lot. Thanks
My 2005 Rancher was running that way. The choke cable going into the carburetor was the problem.
was the choke stuck or what was the issue, i have that problem now out of the blue
This is a very helpful video. Thank you for posting this.
Good on you mate good video well done
Thanks for posting this . Now I can fix mine.
Good video sir
Thanks for the video brother, very helpful. GOD BLESS
Mine looks exactly like this and got it today from a family memebr. They put it in shop amd replaced carb but now its dripping gas all around it
i swaped a 03 rancher 350 carborator onto an 87 350D afr seems ok if a little lean but it does the exact same thing *sometimes* off of idle, ill be sure to do this and return with an edit
No problem glad it helped
Save yourself a lot of work and add Startron additive to all your gasoline engines and tanks. Not stabil but startron.

I've got some antrhung!!
Yeah my favorite one was the Honda 300, I just don’t make them like they used to for sure, all the electronic stuff on them nowadays is crap
Hi, just wondering does the Honda four trax 300 have the same carb as the rancher 350?
nice seat
Haha! Yeah,it has been used. We get em to ride, not look at.

Pilot jet is clogged
Thanks man God bless ya
Big Rob
I have one I bought a Amazon carb for , less than 50 bucks , it idles extremely high , thinking of buying another carb
You can adjust the idle or maybe you did that.
I need to know where the berry bottom hose attaches too. On mines it just dangling leaking gas
It is supposed to just dangle. But if it has gas coming out out that tells you the carb needs some work or replaced.
Great video thanks man!!
I loved it!!
Thank for I thought I blew up my top end
But isn't premium gas for vehicles with a turbocharger or a Mercedes-Benz
All premium gas is, is gas with additives. I prefer using non-ethanol gas and then adding my own fuel additives to it, no telling what the gas people put in there
That's what mine is doing.
Yeah it’s a problem with those 4 wheelers for sure!
Hope you get yours fixed!
At 1:29 what is that hose in the middle of the screen and where does it go? Thanks
steve71 its just a drain for the air box in case oil or water somehow finds its way in there.
Thanks!
