I just realized something, as I start with heavier weight in deadlifts, I sometimes forget cues like making the arms long or pulling slack out properly. Am I the only person who is this way?
9:42 really idd lol tiny femurs my dude, high bar would feel amazing like you mentioned. same goes for Joey and me, long torso, short femur squat enjoyers.
If I'm short, (I'm 5'4") should I use smaller plates to make up the weight instead of the bigger plates i.e. using 6, 25lbs plates as opposed to 2, 45lbs plates etcetera?
Depending on what you are training for. General health and strength yeah more range of motion is better for you. But if you are planning on power lifting, take advantage of the short range of motion to move more weight and score better
@@saiyan1191 People who pull like that are just ego lifters; their form is poor on everything. The same type of ego lifting and lack of honor is seen in those who reduce their range of motion to mere inches 🤫

content is good. I think it is very hard to compete with the other fitness content. There is just so much. Larry Wheels, David Laid, Mike Thurston, heck even mr olympia chris bumsted uploads content on youtube. If barbell brigade would want to achieve more views I think they would need new influencers to get on their team. Like they did with larry gao. I think he brings in fresh wind to the content
I can hear Alan shouting 'Do not roll the bar'
Ty Guys for doing this Video. I am Learning.
miss bart in his workout vids.
Bart and Joey!! Thanks for this 😊
probably the hardest exercise to consistently do correctly.
Easiest
once you get it down 100% it’s easy
Is there a playlist for this?

Nope. Same here. sometimes it clicks and then next time I'll forget it.

Why is it good with socks?
So the bar doesn't scrape your leg skin

Thanks for the reply. I'm 55; just looking to get stronger and keep my mobility. I will stick with the smaller plates.
@@hey-its-me-bobby-D No problem happy to help. Sounds like the right choice to me :)
@@hey-its-me-bobby-D Hey also if you run out of little plates you can just stand on a plate or two and "raise the bar" that way
Hi Bart
personally i like a narrower stance on mine
Same this is way too wide for me tbh and I can feel my lats more

Infotainment at its best......Commie gym? Never heard that one.
Conventional pullers do better we are getting our ass kicked these days lmao
At least we pull with honor 😉
@@turkishdelight6032 seen many conventional pullers cat back. That’s not honor

@@turkishdelight6032 the extremely low rom sumo is pathetic as well, but there are people who pull sumo and have valid rom.

The channel is only used to advertise their supplements. So sad
