Mega Man 11 (or Megaman 11...if you're....not correct?) was released on October 2nd, 2018 for PC and Steam, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. It's a continuation of the classic Mega Man series that hasn't been around for over 8 years. Caddy spent 35 hours finishing all the other classic Megaman (HA THAT'S NOT HOW YOU SPELL IT) games a few weeks back in one of the trickiest Caddicarus episode series' he's ever done - and now, Mega Man has returned. QUESTION OF THE DAY: I've heard many conflicting opinions of this game. What did you think about Mega Man 11?
Return to form, I like it. Very simple but good and that's all I need from megaman right now.
The Mighty No. 9 we needed, but not the Mega Man 11 we deserved.
It's possibly the best classic Mega Man game, and overall an amazing Mega Man game. Away from the Mega Man franchise it's still pretty damn good.
Not to be a jerk. But there is a rewind feature in megaman legacy collection 1. You can turn back time so you won't die easily. You can do it in megaman 1, 2, 3, 4,5,6. Also you should have pick newcomers mode. But I guessing you like to punish yourself wean it comes to mega man eh?
I thought it was great. I like 6 slightly more but this is still a damn fine Mega Man.
Bounce man beats fuse man because he’s made of rubber, you know, an insulator of electricity.
Yeah I got this as the second and third bosses I fought (after beating Block Man because of the Demo). I thought it would be pretty obvious
Bounce kinda sounds better because it captures what he is more and how he fights and his stage.
Apart from Block > Acid, Fuse > Tundra and Tundra > Flame they usually made some sense. Sometimes the boss's pattern is a big clue as well (Fuseman bolts around all over the place, so you can use the balls that bounce around everywhere, Tundraman usually stays on the ground, and so do the Fuse orbs)
Some weapons do still work really well despite that however, like how Acid Shield basically negates Blast Man's attacks.
MM10 did that with Strike Man and Sheep Man too

Actually Caddy the weaknesses DO make sense.
Impact > Bounce Man: A ball can definitely be destroyed if hit by a piledriver.
Bounce > Fuse Man: Rubber is highly resistant to electricity. Science 101
Fuse > Tundra Man: Ice is solid water and what is it that conducts electricity?
Tundra > Torch Man: Good luck getting a flame going in arctic temperatures
Torch > Blast Man: You got a light match. And you got a bomb...
Blast > Block Man: What do you think people use to tear down old buildings? (Though Impact would've made as much sense in that regard)
Block > Acid Man: Isn't cement resistant to corrosive acid?
Acid > Impact: But metal sure as hell isn't

Also ice can be destroyed by a piledriver as well
Basically around half of these require experimentation of some sort and the other ones, while they do make some sense, they also require a lot of intuition and amazing reasoning
@ Sumanth Kota I see your point. But it's apparent that the game designers made the weaknesses on a basic concept. After all, when you're running around shooting shit and blowing shit up, who cares about complex science?

To me it sounds like amethyst when her gem was cracked.
One detail i love about this game: in all previous games, changing the weapon only changed mega mans color scheme. In this game, it also changes the look of your helmet and the mega buster to fit the weapon. It's a small, but neat detail.

the logic for the weaknesses actually makes good sense in this game. the bricks shatter the glass beaker, the rubber negates the electricity, the acid corrodes impact's spikes, etc. one of the soundest boss orders without using generic elements
Agreed. I feel like Caddy's complaints with the logic boiled down to focusing just on the names of the robot masters, rather than the elements comprising them and their powers.

Inafune was a genius. he wanted to make a new upgraded Megaman but Capcom wouldn't. so he got everyone excited with images of Mighty #9 then gave us complete shit so that Capcom would realize that they needed to make a new Megaman in the style of the Mighty # 9 preview imagery.

I love the review you did for this game, but one thing I've noticed with this one, and most any other people make, is the complaint about Blast Man's weapon taking to long to explode making it not as effective by comparison to something like it's powered up form. I just want to know why no one seems to have realized that when you use the bombs and then press down+attack it detonates all of them...
