Oh wow. I remember loving this game when I was little. Maybe I was an easly entertained kid, but still, it wasn't that bad... Except for the caves and the final boss, I have never beaten him and I still have no idea how to beat him.
I remember playing this on the PC back in 2001. I thought it was alright, was kinda like a 3D version of the Sega Genesis Aladdin game, but the Camera was so bad I couldn't finish the game past Nasira's Lair which made the platform jumping difficult. There was a cool level that was set in a pyramid if I recall.
The "long pause then perfectly cut scream" is probably one of my favorite kinds of incidental humor. Caddy is a master of using it. Even as recently as Crash 4.

This could’ve felt like Baby’s first Prince of Persia, watered down with platformer elements from games like Crash Bandicoot or Jak and Daxter. Sad. Seemed like a decent premise.
