Such a beautiful material; the blues are so rich. It was a ‘wow’ moment seeing the matching section. It’s a really nice pen, and the ink is a perfect complement for it. Thank you.
Gorgeous pen. Wow. Thanks for this. I love that the section matches the pen. I just ordered a smaller pen from them in this material, same color. Stunning
Very nice material! In my experience, I can get an eyedropper pen to write within a few seconds of filling it. Just fill the pen to just below the thread, screw on the section until you have about 2-3 turns left to seal it. Then turn the pen nib down and cover with your ink cloth. Then complete tightening the section. The air displacement will push ink out the nib, hence covering the nib with a cloth. I have done it without the cloth and have been sprayed with ink from the breather hole.
Hello -- I have two Ranga Giant 9Bs, and one regular 9B. They are huge and I like them. So far they write surprisingly well and I have had no problems. For comparison, I also have a rather gigantic Sailor King of Pen Ebonite, which cost more than 10 times as much as one Ranga 9B. However, my Rangas have excellent fit and finish for being so moderately priced. I have used fountain pens for 60 years and own about 100, ranging from about $20 to $2,000 and representing most of the world's best-known pen makers. I have a little experience with pens, and I think the Ranga 9Bs and Ranga pens, in general, offer a lot for the money.
Beautiful pen. I have several Ranga pens; a couple of the larger ones but not this big! I am always attracted to the blue and beige Ebonite, but I wind up picking a different one. The color distribution on your pen is gorgeous, so my next Ranga may have to be that color.
Nice review. Mine is Matte and I like very much the touch. By the way I could preserve the cloth sack and the latest news in India are also about cricket.
I got two 9B ( not giant) during the last group sale on FPN. I love them. One is fine with is wide and wet. The flex fine is a real fine. Both eyedropper with an excellent Kanwrite nib. Edit: ink looks like Diamine Asa Blue
Lovely pen, which I also have in crimson, plus a standard one in Yellow, blue, pink swirl. Do you prefer the eyedropper over the Bock plastic feed? I am thinking of getting the Bamboo Ranga in military green, but possibly CC with Bock 1.1 italic nib.

Nice idea. Also instead of covering nib with cloth, you can hold the pen above ink bottle. Then you won't waste any ink.
@@abhinavjha33 Just make sure the whole nib is in the bottle or you could spray yourself.

That’s a beautiful pen and the ink is a unique shade of blue. I really like them both.

Wow, there seems to be a huge space between the tines on that nib, glad it still writes smoothly
I like the pen. I wish , I could have one !! Great colour and model choice.....will write hundreds of pages together!! 👍
Beautiful!
I am planning to buy this pen , which filling system is better for long term ? eye dropper or converter ?
One of my Rangas is made from that same ebonite design. It is a looker!
Thanks for sharing. Some eye dropper pens are notorious for burbing. How is this pen in that regards?
Thank you for the review . I like a pen you can use as a truncheon ! But seriously lovely material and a nice wet writer .

The Kanwrite nibs in the eyedropper pens have been great for me so far, but frankly you can't go wrong either way.
Doppelgänger of the titan !
Pens and knives....I see you like trhe Kershaw Leek?
Not a knife collector, but I like that one.
